I was rooting for the Pats in the Super Bowl, but I’m liking the Eagles more and more.
And all the lies fall apart. Still just trying to use the NFL black players to distract from crimes and corruption, and rile up the base.
This whole national anthem thing, it’s like a political football, I tell ya.
It would be very interesting to have confirmation that 80 employees of the Eagles organization (players, front office, coaches, scouts, staff, etc) RSVPd as late as Friday they were definitely attending, only to cancel yesterday. The WH is expecting us to believe there was a weekend collapse of support for attending. It seems highly unlikely a person would inform his/her organization they were committed to attending on a Friday, only to back out 72 hours later. Regardless that employee’s affinity for Trump they would feel beholden to their employer to follow through on such a committment, especially lacking any previously expressed reservations about going in the first place.
That’s because with the type of dementia the Asshole-elect has, he doesn’t remember from one minute to the next. Sad.
I’m a Eagles fan. Period. Winning the Super Bowl and they way they did it and the great players and people who accomplished the feat, and getting the better of those loathsome cheating Patriots (lucky, too), makes it all the sweeter.
Hearing that the players and nearly all of the rest of the team were snubbing Trump because – let’s face it – he’s a despicable jerk and career criminal, was the best thing I’ve heard in month. Them spending even one minute in his presence would tarnish the trophy.
Trump is not popular anywhere in the Eagles fan base. Snubbing him also won the Eagles some more fans and I’m happy to have as enemies those he Trump converted. It will make it all the more sweet to repeat as champs. If it’s US vs. THEM, that works for Philly. We haven’t always been winners but when we do, it’s clean and well-earned.
Trump, on the other hand, is a cheater and liar and crook. Everything he touches is tainted.

I’m surprised that former elite athlete Trumples would pass up a chance to sniff their jockstraps. I’m less surprised that they don’t want his stench clinging to their suits and ties.
Pickyfingers didn’t want to be embarrassed by the low turnout.

This is not the easy win the Trump people were expecting. There’s been significant blowback and they’re on their back foot. When you’re defending, you’re losing.
