I don’t have the slightest doubt there are people who will try extortion on celebrities, but 13 of them on one guy?

Didn’t realize that an entertainment show had a responsibility to do anything. Other than keep ratings up, which leads to higher commercial time rates.

I imagine this type behavior is far more common among the wealthy celebrity class than their owners would expect us to believe…
In Cincinnati, just this week, a man in a working class neighborhood was discovered holding 12 women prisoners in his home. He’d drive them to a Louisville hotel and sell them as prostitutes.
Big guys have the cash and loyal staff to make it seem they are doing the young people a favor.
It’s not too surprising that they were uncomfortable. Bill Cosby is well liked and has always had an affable, avuncular public image. I, too, feel uncomfortable with the idea that he was assaulting women in private. I hope it’s not true, and fear it might be. It usually is, but not always.
Too bad the folks he assaulted can’t just move on . If this is true, and it doesn’t look good for Bill… its really sad all the way around.

He may be what you describe emotionally broken and old but he was a well know player in his flaming youth and that’s what landed him where he is now. But the topic is not one for four vapids to take on. The next topic they discussed was how to cook the perfect Thanksgiving turkey LOL so what they do is for the purposes of filling the air time allotted to them.

So to be clear, the good ladies on the view want the alleged victim to come on the show to answer some questions to make things less awkward. Yet Cosby, known personally by two of the View’s hosts, is not asked to answer for anything.

I would rather wait and see what evidence if there is any .
I only hope its not true and thirteen women out of hundreds or maybe thousands that have been around him in his career make me wonder . I want to see if women who were around him will come to his defense.
Or imagine if it were the Donald!
Anyway, Whoopie already established herself as an apologist for rape when she claimed that when Roman Polanski doped up a thirteen year old with drugs and alcohol and had his way with her it “wasn’t rape rape.” I knew Whoopie before she was rich and famous and the Whoopie I knew would never have even thought of such a thing to say, let alone would she have aid it. Money and fame turns a lot of people into idiots.
I think the women on the view are best suited to discussing the optimum methods for cooking turkeys.

O’Donnell can be such a hypocrite. She has no problem calling out Woody Allen over allegations of child molestation and practically accused John Grisham of supporting child pornography but she doesn’t want to talk about Cosby? As for Whoopie, she has a less than stellar history when it comes to giving alleged rapists a pass.

It’s an embarrassment so many apologies for Cosby in so many mediums. So, all FOURTEEN or more women could be lying because well, Cosby is a well liked celeb? Wow, misogyny is alive and well in 204.

All these women do is form judgments about people in the news. But when it’s someone they know, their judgment dries up and blows away.
If it is true, what a shabby way to end a career. And what a perspective it puts on all his scoldings in recent years for lack of self-control.
