Well, given that Congress is in session, that wouldn’t be very fruitful.
“Pending the call of the chair.” McConnell shows up every few days with a couple of allies and they adjourn, pending another call of the chair. If someone really wanted to fuck with them, Reid could show up and demand a quorum call. Would force all the Senators to return to Washington.
