Discussion: WATCH LIVE: Obama Expected To Discuss Scalia's Death At 4:35 PM ET

That’s what “they” want you to think.

As far as I know Scalia had a heart attack in his sleep and therefore died. Died in his sleep. I spent 45+ years at a teaching hospital and I’ve seen all kinds of ugly deaths. I would hope more folks have such a peaceful departure. Not that I agreed with Scalia’s approach to politics.

Obama just said his golf score is classified… heh heh heh… the man’s sense of humor is intact.

Senate Republicans respond by saying they don’t plan on returning until 2024.

And then as a minority party.

In watching the presser, Obama had some decent points about obstructionism in the Senate, including 14 federal judges unanimously confirmed out of the Judiciary Committee, but still not voted in the Senate.

Obama’s failure is he did not sufficiently call out Republicans (McConnell) and demand a vote. Now. Then ask Americans to demand a vote, since it is their judiciary that is undermanned. Otherwise, it is more of the same- these guys are obstructing for some reason, we don’t like it, but whatever…

Obama, Reid, and Schumer need to light some fires.

Well, that was a pleasure to watch.

Great presser. And yes, quite professorial, especially at the end. Wonderful.

Late edit: Some idiot on Fox just said he felt like he was just “roofied” by Obama’s rhetoric. If only…

And why was my TV was on Fox? I haven’t the slightest…cleaning the remote I guess.

Did anyone else think it was strange that not one reporter asked about the ongoing ASEAN summit?
