Trump wants to give a press conference, but if he does, the terrorists win.
That and a “likability” question and a “cratering in the polls question” and a “deplorables” question and “why won’t you say Islamic Terrorism” question. The press are Trump’s lap dogs.

Secretary Clinton, why didn’t you stop these attacks that Mr. Trump predicted?
I can actually see that as a real question from the press.
Now that you mention it, when in fact was the last time the toughest, smartest, truth-telliest guy who ever lived did an actual interview with non-Fox people? It’s all surrogates these days.
I think it is what she needs to do, however. She’ll do us proud!

Great! A couple more timely half-assed “terrorist” attacks, and America will sweep nincompoop Trump into the White House because naturally, he’s going to “keep us safe”! Yeah, George W. Bush/9-11 style safe! Keep up the good work America!
The feed started for me, at least, while she was already talking. Haven’t much liked NBC’s live-streaming efforts. But she’s hitting the right notes IMHO.

You’ve recommended C-span before. Good to know. Besides the late start, NBC’s image quality is distractingly poor.
