Lanny Davis is an imbecile that the Right loves to trot out whenever there’s a Clinton dust-up. He used to be a regular on the G. Gordon Liddy show attempting to defend Clinton. Liddy loved to have him on because he was staunchly loyal to the Clintons and clearly an idiot.

The strategy of Jeb Bush’s oppo team is clear–it isn’t to make a scandal stick, or even make people credibly believe there is a scandal. It’s to just make them go “Ugh. If we elect her, this is how it’s going to be, day after day, week after week, month after month. Conservatives making shit up and generally acting like a zoo full of enraged howler monkeys and the press playing along because it’s good “content” and they hate the Clintons anyway. I’m already exhausted. So exhausted, I’ll vote for a Republican, because what’s four years of creeping oligarchy and reduction of service and economic chaos and contraction of civil liberty and young men and women slipped back into the country in the dead of night in flag draped aluminum boxes compared to all that drama.”
Their strategy is to make us feel sick dread at the resumption of the Clinton Wars, feel it so much that our stomachs clench up at the very thought of going through another four or eight years of it. And Lanny Davis is the best possible person for them to call upon to drive that point home.

The smartest move Hillary could make right now would be to keep Lanny Davis off the air. Not only did he throw the Obama administration under the bus, he flat out stated that what Hillary did was wrong (it wasn’t) and that that is ok because it’s not illegal. Wow, seriously, THIS is the guy Hillary is letting defend her in the media?

I’m more than half convinced that he’s going rogue most of the times you see him appear on the teevee to “help” them. His whole con consists of convincing people with money that he’s got influence with powerful people, particularly the Clintons.

Seems to me Wallace was agreeing what she did was not illegal, that was the jackass Huckabee who made that idiotic assertion. Wallace used the word “wrong”, and he is correct on that. For her to wait almost two years after she left office before archiving emails, and then only because she was requested to, was wrong. Not illegal. There is no scandal or crime here. But it was real dumb, and dumb is wrong. She gave the appearance she was hiding something.

Big article from AP in Anchorage Dispatch News this morning subtitled “Governors of Oregon, Alaska have been targets of disclosure requests”. Article is primarily focused on Kitzhaber of Oregon, small part about Palin and Democratic Governor of Colorado Bill Ritter with nary a mention of Scott Walker, Jeb Bush or Rick Perry who used the same private accounts. Jebbie’s got his oppo people working hand in glove with MSM sycophants already it appears.

Lanny is loathsome. If he has Hillary’s blessing to represent her on the teevee then that would be a more disqualifying consideration than anything she may have done with her emails.
I f there was any doubt that this email thing was anything but a Rovian witch hunt the exchange between Davis and Wallace clears that up. Total mainstream media Republican bullshit.
