Discussion for article #229326
I can’t watch it. I will wait for the esteemed commenters here to voice their opinions. I refuse to ruin my morning.
This is why we can’t have real debates.
Here’s what you missed - Rinse Pubes said stupid stuff.
Both parties are full of shit. I’m just so sick and tired of the bickering and the attacks that I don’t even want to pay attention anymore.*
#####*not my actual opinion, but that of the average American voter working full-time, barely making ends meet, and trying to relax on the weekends by watching sports and movies and tuning out election day negativity. And when voter enthusiasm is depressed, it’s the GOP that benefits. Priebus wins this round and demonstrates why even participating in the on-air debate was a bad idea for Wasserman-Schultz.
Off topic: Is this capitalism run amok?: “9 SHOPPING DAYS UNTIL ELECTION”
You see, it’s intended to be clever. The only thing that motivates the masses to get off their asses is a deadline, such as the one behind the true meaning of Christmas: commerce.
because republicans want to control everything, including a simple debate
“Both parties are full of shit. I’m just so sick and tired of the bickering and the attacks that I don’t even want to pay attention anymore.*”
Yes,Yep & Bingo !
I tried, I tried, I tried…but I could not watch the entire video. All I can say is we as a country are in deep doo-doo.
Reince. Wash. Repeat. Same old stuff all over again. Appeal to people by being nastier than the other.
LOL. Love it.
Ahhhh, thank you Citizens United.
The lowest common denominator now controls the fate of the USA.
It reminded me of “The Gong Show”.
Oh good old Rancid Piehole, doing what the right does best, by projecting what he did onto his counterpart. Excuse me Rancid, but you did not answer the question first posed to you by Candy, which of course good old dependable right wing Candy refused to call you out for, but you accused your opponent of doing the same, which once again old right wing Candy neglected to call you out for.
She did in fact answer the question, because this election should be about such issues as the minimum wage, the middle class struggling while the rich get richer, and education, so that maybe more people barely getting by can actually be able to lift themselves up, however, since YOUR party is doing everything to keep people down, while further enriching your pocket liners, they have nothing to run on, but scaring the hell out of people.
Reince is simply trying to control the debate by being the loudest MF’r in the room… nothing more, nothing less.
I remember the old SNL parody of “Point Counterpoint”
His, and the Republicans’ as a whole, strategy is simply to make the debate exactly what it was. Make people lose faith in the political process. That’s the right’s goal. The more people that say “Both parties are such a joke”, the less turnout there is and that’s better for Republicans. Apart from that, the only way they can win is by gerrymandering and suppressing votes.
the GOP hopes it’s not the president’s policies on the ballot, because if they are, the democrats take both houses of congress by landslides. they know it, which is why pretty much every republican ad either outright lies, or distorts the truth in such a way, you can’t figure out what the hell the ad is about, other than “don’t vote for the democratic boogy man!”
This is why one of their tactics has been to employ trolls to post on political websites that total BS that both parties are the same, because they do indeed know that apathy is what makes Dems, and many independents sit at home on election day. The right are not experts at much, but they are indeed experts in down and dirty psychological warfare.
and after the program, dw-s and rp likely went out for brunch… it’s all theatre and total bullshit.
All politics is local, Reince. Accordingly, none of it is about Obama.
Yeah, who the hell thought that was a good idea?
