Discussion: WATCH: C-SPAN Caller Refers To Obama As 'That N***er' On Air

Discussion for article #229880

“then Hillary Clinton will be elected in 2016.”

If she runs she will be elected no matter what the GOP’ers do. As for counseling the GOP on overreach…WTF? That’s their stock in trade. They were elected to overreach. Everyone knows what those guys are going to do. Certainly every person that voted for them does.

I believe him.

Right.
Hateful content is just fine, but you cross the line when you actually use the N-word. Because that’s just exposing too much.

Wow…someone on the GOP side actually told the truth while being harshly racist at the same time!

WTF? Are any of us shocked? Hell, I’m not. I’ve heard him called that repeatedly on my trips back to visit family in Oklahoma. I just smile at the idiots and refuse to engage along those lines.

Understandably hate and fear are the emotions most common to these shitbirds. Better them than me.[quote=“RichardinJax, post:2, topic:12811”]

We’ll get to see old fashioned misogyny at it’s finest. I think Hillary can take it. Joni Ernst is a toddler with a dull plastic spoon when compared to the subtle, sharp and deft knife Hillary can wield.

But, John Roberts told me that racism is OVER! How could he possibly have been wrong about that? Oh, yeah, he’s a lying sack of crap who will say anything he wants to. Thanks, GOP! Another “impartial” justice on the SC. 2016 can not arrive quickly enough.

But wait, aren’t we living in a post-racial society! Why just this morning, Glen Beck told me that the election of Tim Scott in SC shows that we are living Martin Luther King’s dream of a colorblind society!

But actually, it’s about ethics in games journalism.

The sad part is that the caller sounded young. But this is a keeper! Everytime some T’bagger makes some racist assumption about my avatar, I’m gonna drop this link on his racist head!

I don’t think Hillary can overcome both the deeply seated hatred that the GOP have for her, and the wildely pervasive misogyny that exists in many people on all sides of the isle. I think Hillary will lose. I’ll be voting for her if she runs, but I think she’ll lose.

Newsflash for the shocked, appalled and dismayed…this has been going on since Obama’s first inauguration and won’t even end when he leaves office…There is a collective illness in the country that will not be cured until entire generations of unabashed haters have met their maker.

I’m not so sure about that. It is not going to be a cake walk for Hillary.

I love how he had his hand on the hang up button and the guy didn’t say “n” until the moderator had turned away. Almost like the caller was waiting for his chance to say it

I read the guy’s quote a couple of times and it looks odd. If you read comments sections on conservative websites they know better than to use that word, and they say all sorts of things, sometimes in the usual coded language they use and sometimes saying every kind of openly racist thing EXCEPT that word (they aren’t actually very good at hiding their racism, they think as long as they don’t say that word they are immune to being labeled racist, it’s actually the only thing they understand). They just don’t talk like this - you wouldn’t see one of them saying advocating for the repeal of Obamacare is “extreme.” Honestly it sounds like dude is pretending to be a Republican.

Makes me think of a Kinsley gaffe: “Typically, it refers to a politician inadvertently saying something publicly that they privately believe is true, but would ordinarily not say publicly because they believe it is politically harmful.”
