Hey, maybe the geniuses at SCOTUS should interview this suffering soul and the millions like him and reconsider whether discrimination is dead and the rights of minorities are on solid ground…whatayasay…Roberts,Alito,Thomas,Scalia?
psst. It’s an “Aisle”.
Why shucks Mike, everyone knows that N(ding) is firmly entrenched in the 'Murican lexycon. Why even the Jew Mel Brooks used it in a movie!
N(ding) is 'Murican as pecan pie and WHITE whipping cream. Emphasis on the whipping if you get my drift.
Interesting point. I thought it was curious that they guy is a crude troll on one hand and is warning against overreach on the other, especially on repealing the ACA. Usually the trolls rail against Obamacare in the ridiculous overblown terms we’ve all heard. This guy had a much more sophisticated, nuanced view than that. Just seemed curious is all.
yeah, by no means am I saying conservatives being racist is inconceivable (that is silly and insulting to anyone with a fully functional brain) but the whole context of his statement just doesn’t add up to me, and he doesn’t sound like any of the conservative morons crawling around the internet.
Yes, it is their stock in trade. What strikes me about this is not the public use of racist language; we know much of the opposition is fueled by heightening such tendencies, and bringing them into cultural acceptance as far as possible, for political purposes. Such overt language is not yet acceptable in public. But the fellow only expressed an honest version of the virulent hatred the right has deliberately engineered and harnessed against the person of President Obama. It is a terrible thing to manipulate people’s tendency to hate, and terrible to accept disinformation to serve that hate.
But here’s the thing that is striking: even as he cannot restrain his hatred, this fellow is afraid that his side will overreach, causing a backlash. These people know deep in their souls (such as they are), they are playing with fire and soon enough it will be taken from them.
Neither they nor their manipulators will be able to change course, but they will try mightily to cover it in reasonableness, served with the usual distortion by their leaders, and carried by the usual media disinformation.
But the colors will show, and the effect of one party rule in too many states will soon immunize us against lies. I hope.
Stupid Anthony of San Diego, don’t you even know he’s only half N*****?
They hate his black half for being a niCLANG!
They hate his white half for being a marxist kendonesian usurper dictator criminal lawless.
Haha…did Beck really go there?
The truth will never be allowed.
Yeah, he was a Republican. Suuuuure he was.
“We’re not gonna use that kind of language.”
Yes, this is The Village and that kind of language has to be dog whistled.
Unlike most of the drooling loons that participate in C-SPIN’s morning waste of time, this caller really does reflect the average hate-filled, angry, closeted bisexual, older white male voter. Their self-hate is easily directed, with dark money and big media assistance, into a murderous hatred of ultimately not even Mr. Obama himself but America.
CSPAN call in is the best. Tuesday night a student called in and recited from her psych test book something about sensory acknowledgement something another.
A truth uttered by a Republican…finally.
And Justice Kennedy told ME that there could never be any possibility of collusion in campaign financing under Citizens United.
Let’s see…something just south of $500 MILLION spent on the top 10 Senate races this year alone and the vast majority of it from undisclosed donors.
Let’s see…Scott Walker E-mail telling supporters to make sure all big donations flow through his Club for Growth link so it can be parceled out at his guidance.
Let’s see…mountains of cash pays for 12,000 of 79,000 TV ads run in KY in support of McConnell or against Grimes and donors to the source…the KY Opportunity Coalition (located in a shopping mall mailbox) remain unknown.
I am so happy with this Supreme Court and I can’t wait to see what will happen in the next two years to make them even more helpful.
(This contains snark)
On a serious note sorry about your governor race. I awakened yesterday to learn that not only had LePage won but also Sam Brownback. It brought on a kind of out of body experience for me.
Just cannot make it make sense.
Don’t be so sure Hillary is a slam dunk. More than a few Dems view Hillary with resignation rather than enthusiasm. She does come off as inauthentic on the campaign trail, and there can always be a Bill Clinton eruption at some point.
If Hillary is the nominee, of course most Dems will vote for her. But you never know if a Rand Paul will appeal more to younger voters.
Exactly. There’s your “Republican Wave” right there.
It is obvious that he called in to say those words. And he was just thrilled he got to say it on tv.
“You can certainly make your point, but you cross the line when you use language like that,”
That language was his point.
