Discussion: Warren On 'Arrogant Woman' Jab: 'McConnell Can't Shut Me Up,' Neither Can Kelly

This is a great response but now you need to get on TV and say it. Fundraising emails are not a big enough venue for this.

Kinda OT but worth a rejoinder:

Hard to imagine innit? Women get killed by abusive boyfriends/husbands … and she thinks she’s Thee most bullied person on the planet. Ummm, no. Bullied…very likely, but the most bullied? Hardly. Yes she is married to an abusive man. But it is clearly her choice to stay in that situation. If she has a lick of sense she would’ve socked away a goodly pile of cash somewhere that donnie cannot get to it and have on hand a packed bag for herself and Barron.
But no, she wants to play victim.

McConnell is certainly feeling his oats.

She needs the equivalent of giving those two a kick in the nuts,

OK so which is worse a swift kick in the nuts, or the persistent pokes in the eye. Never regular, never knowing when, but persistent?

This is important, as the GOP now feels they can label women and it works (see Kavanaugh, Brett), especially with “male” words like “arrogant.” Put this in the “how dare Democrats act like Republicans” category, only this goes under “how dare women act like men” category.

It is ALMOST amusing that an arrogant, impolite male would ONE MORE TIME try to ‘school’ a woman on how to ‘act’ like a woman. You cannot make this sht up.

I just pray that women don’t fall for it because all those Republican women will jump on board (have jumped already).

I am so irritated when I hear ‘white educated women’ all go for Trump. BS. Not out here on the LEFT Coast!!!

Dems should have a continuous rotation of this email, McConnell’s “she was warned but she persisted”, the eleven Republicans of the judiciary committee deciding without evidence whether a woman was really assaulted, and Trump mocking Ford and DiFi, on the TV commercials all over the country.

Unfortunately they are too timid.

Nothing that stops her from doing both…

Oh so you’re saying a little variety is the spice of life?

I can totally see how she can come across as grating to colleagues. Not a gender issue, just a self-righteousness thing. She’s an imperfect messenger for a good message. And that’s why Democrats are still snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Just an observation from a person unaffiliated with either party.

“Clever,” she continued. “Well, Mitch McConnell can’t shut me up – and neither can John Kelly. (He can’t even get Donald Trump off Twitter, and as far as I can tell, that was his main job description when he took on the role of White House Chief of Staff).”

Ouch.

There’s nothing like a kick in the nuts to make you forget about being poked in the eye.

Ah ‘grating’…that comes across as well as ‘arrogant and impolite’. She is a smart educated woman with no more shts to give. I don’t see that as ‘self righteous’…

Perhaps she should giggle, bat her eyes, and admit that Kelly was right all along? Enough of this one-sided sexist tone-policing.
