After the 2016 election, amid concerns that Russia tried to meddle in the election, Zuckerberg said it was âcrazyâ to think that fake content on Facebook influenced the outcome of the 2016 race.
So he said it didnât happen and even if it did it would be difficult to address. Hm! I think if heâs running for President heâs well on the way to mastering the skills and attitudes the position demands today.
âDifficult to addressâ=too profitable to the company to stop
Any change in FBâS numbers? Iâm still on, to keep in touch with family
âBut then how will everyone love me!?â said Zuck before he went into his office to cry for an hour. I think heâd best scuttle his plans to run for office.
âAfter President Donald Trump won the presidential election in November, then-President Barack Obama asked Facebook founder Mark ZuckerbergâŚâ
Bit late, doncha think?
If you take over the profitable aspects of being the public square, guess what, you have to take over the negative ones too.
He asked his so they could ADDRESS the problemâŚ
One could almost postulate that Barack Obama did not want Hillary Clinton to win the election. But this would have to be predicated on accepting that Russian âmeddlingâ had any significant impact, which it did not. I donât care how many fake news articles appeared on Sputnik, or how many âmean thingsâ were said about the Dakota Access Pipeline, Single Payer Health Care of Occupy Wall Street on RT. A grand total of 0.000001% of American have ever heard of either. As for Facebook ads, we already know that micro-targeted advertising does not work. Proof for that lies in two words: Robby Mook. If it did work Hillary Clinton would be president today. And if Mother Russia really had wanted to or had the ability to determine the outcome of our presidential election, wouldnât they have thrown all of their support behind their Socialist Brother, Bernie Sanders? I mean, really! The way the Neo-McCarthyites in the âDemocraticâ Party yammer on about Russia youâd think it was the old, Communist Soviet Union, instead of a Capitalist Plutocracy run by billionaire oligarchs. You know, just like the good olâ U. S. of AâŚ
Unless you were a trumpsucker, those ads had no effect.
So, contrary to the opinion of 17 intelligence agencies, there was no meddling because the Russians wouldâve supported Sanders (which they did), and even if they did meddle it didnât work, or have any impact? OK.
This is sarcasm, right? As in, Putin is such a principled Marxist, and his regime practices true socialism and egalitarianism?
Sigh. You donât know that. Those ads were presented as news articles. They werenât presented as ads. So, a person who isnât particularly news saavy would see them come across their FB feed, bunched in with articles from reputable sources, and think the story was real. âHillary kills peopleâ, or some version of it, was extremely popular and convinced some otherwise sane people that she had some kind of death squad.
I think his plans for running in 2020 are already in tatters and are going to get even worse.
Reading beyond this would have answered your questionâŚ
Seventeen? Uh, no.

WASHINGTON (AP) â In stories published April 6, June 2, June 26 and June 29, The Associated Press reported that all 17 U.S. intelligence agencies have agreed that Russia tried to influence the 2016 election to benefit Donald Trump. That assessment was based on information collected by three agencies â the FBI, CIA and National Security Agency â and published by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, which represents all U.S. intelligence agencies. Not all 17 intelligence agencies were involved in reaching the assessment.
Furthermore, no proof was ever offered. So are you really asking us Liberals to trust the CIA?
anyone who believes any ânewsâ or ads they see on FBâŚdeserves DOTUS TRUMPfâŚiâm an old person and even I am not that gullibleâŚespecially from people you do not know.
