Not only was it wrong, it was illegal for Flynn to have discussed with Russia the lifting of sanctions – while President Barack Obama was still POTUS and before Shitgibbon took over. It’s just icing on the cake that Flynn also lied to the FBI about it. I suspect Shitgibbon’s admission that he would have directed Flynn to discuss the topic with the Russians is just another bullet Congressional Republicans will put away for use during the impeachment phase of his stay in D.C.

If anyone really thinks anything will come of this, just look back at how it worked out for James Clapper when he boldly and proudly lied to Congress about NSA spying. Not one friggin’ thing was ever done about that felony.

Flynn is just another elite who will never be prosecuted for his crimes. Sick as that is, it’s the American way nowadays.

The Jan. 24 interview potentially puts Flynn in legal jeopardy, as lying to the FBI is a felony, but any decision to prosecute would ultimately lie with the Justice Department. Some officials said bringing a case could prove difficult in part because Flynn may attempt to parse the definition of sanctions.
