Discussion: WaPo After Meeting Trump: His Presidency Would Pose ‘Radical Risk’

Discussion for article #247719

TPM:

According to the board, Trump’s “breezy willingness to ignore facts and evidence” and lack of concrete policies posed the greatest to the country.

Apparently, Drumpf is influencing the WaPo ed board at least a little bit…

Trump: This is exciting as the liberal media continues to trash me. I am the next coming of Amerikan Jesus, even better than Saint Reagan.

Better read WaPo while you can. Once Trump is elected he’s going to padlock the offices and have the DOJ sue out of work employees into indentured servitude or debtor’s prison.

Hope Hicks and Katrina Pierson will tell us everything we need to know going forward.

I had to Google that one. Now my monitor is covered in coffee. Thanks, Ira’s Dad (and Obama)!

“The newspaper posted the transcript and audio recording of the conversation online in the interest of transparency…”

Good idea! Get on tape and out in public as fast as you can.

Trump is an egomaniac and an egomaniac, by definition, doesn’t feel constrained by anything that would get in the way of their selfish needs. For Trump, the U.S. Constitution, ethics, morality, decency, humility, and his so-called religion are disposable when they get in his way. For him they are props.

The WAPO analysis is too little too late; and, if we have an ISIS attack here a la Brussels, Trump is in like Flynn.

I read the transcript and then saved it and was skimming it just now. The whole goddamn thing is like that. He talked for more than an hour and never put three sentences in a row that related to each other. In addition to everything else he really seems to have some sort of severe attention-maintenance disability. That, and a general ignorance far worse than Dubya’s or Palin’s.
