Americans are struggling to cope with the fall in today’s markets

Don’t speak for me. We are actually wishing we had more cash so we could buy equities while they are on sale.

Scottie’s flailing. If the current uncertainty in the market is originating from China, wouldn’t you want to talk to them ASAP?

What the heck does Scottie about the economy? Just look at the state of Wisconsin.

Dafuq? I could see coming out against a state visit over cyber attacks… but coming out against a state visit over a market sell-off? Jesus this dude is a complete amateur.

While not the most ridiculous thing I ever heard, it may be in the top 10. Is there some kind of Sarah Palin Trophy for Public Nonsense at the end of the primary season?

Walker: “Americans are struggling to cope with the fall in today’s markets…."

Why is Walker questioning the “creative destruction” of his unbridled-market god and its prophet Ronnie?

(Any day now, the invisible hand will give all Americans a free pony!)

Is Walker’s middle name Idiocy?

"Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker called on President Obama to cancel Chinese President Xi Jinping’s state visit to the U.S. next month after a tough day for global markets.

Stupid as a box of rocks.

Seriously? He’d like the president to stay home and work on a small-government, christian-based, anti-abortion, fossil-fuel-friendly economic intervention that will send the markets artificially higher?

This is the perfect time to go. Getting together to talk and come up ideas is far better than ignoring each other and burying your head in the sand.

Walker, now might not be the time to give your stump speech on privatizing social security.

“Americans are struggling to cope with the fall in today’s markets driven in part by China’s slowing economy

I’m sure he thinks this statement makes him sound concerned for “middle-class” Americans, but it’s really not anything I’ve heard the average person show much concern over yet.

I swear. After the way Republicans screwed our economy, they should NOT have a seat at the table when it comes to economic matters.

Exactly. The wife informed me this AM that she took the last of the cash out of my Roth IRA and bought stock.

You gotta hope that he really isn’t that ignorant and is just pandering. Of course the problem is that too many Americans believe that China’s cratering economy is something for which you cancel a state visit. Don’t try to confuse me with no echonomiks!

This proves that Walker is not ready and might never be ready for prime time. You don’t cancel the trip of a foreign leader over something like this. International diplomacy is better than a frigging stock sell off.
