Discussion: Walker Calls On Obama To Cancel Chinese President's Trip Amid Market Woes

Oh for fuck’s sake, how is it that our society has so devolved that someone like Walker could hold elective office and that any party serious about the business of governance could even entertain the possibility that it would put someone this blindingly stupid forward as someone to lead the nation?

Americans are struggling to cope with the fall in today’s markets

Really?

I am kinda happy about the further drop in oil prices.

They are getting their way… The market volatility is contrived to manipulate the Fed. This keeps borrowing costs down, thus helping the Koch bottom line.

They just have their peforming monkey doing a dance so we don’t notice…

It worked for W.

Maybe the name Walker makes one prone to being a dulkatd and a puppet?

The Kochs are diversified but their primary sources of revenue are oil and gas. The brothers don’t do as well when oil is $38 per barrel. The weakening Chinese economy when coupled with the Saudi decision to keep pumping at a high rate has caused a glut on the oil market. I doubt David and Charles are really hurt but they are probably fealing the pinch.

Question, do David and Charles actually talk to Scott’ before he speaks or do they just send him a text? .

Walker as a presidential candidate exhibits an embarrassing combination of desperation and outright stupidity. When I think that he won re-election as governor of Wisconsin, I just want to hang my head in hopelessness for the future of US politics.

I think their hand is up his Ass moving his mouth while they do the actual talking.

However, they may outsource this task to Jeff Dunham…

Yes.

This is straight out of the neocon playbook. Even talks or difficult negotiations are considered to be benefits given to the other side.

Actually,it’s right in line with typical Republican thinking these days. We’re so awesome that we don’t need to actually talk to any other countries - just keep them in their place.

A guy who has declared bankruptcy 900 times is leading the polls of the party of fiscal reasonability so what else is he supposed to do?

Yeah Scott it WAS Obama who sold the US economy out to China…

They said that about W too. We still got stuck with him.

Remember that the average voter rarely values intelligence levels when electing a candidate for higher office. I guess we can’t stand someone that’s smarter than us.

People in my office are all buzzing to buy too. We don’t have anything to do with finance and I’m not saying they are making the smart move because I have no idea, but they certainly aren’t struggling to cope with it.

Walker today: “They should cancel the Chinese President’s visit.”

Walker tomorrow: “I have no position on the Chinese President’s visit”

Walker the next day: “They should not cancel the Chinese President’s visit.”

This is is what you can do when you’re not “intimidated” by pesky concepts like integrity.
