Next, the armed military is going to start shooting across the border…
then what.

Migrants were enveloped with tear gas after U.S. agents shot the gas, according to an Associated Press reporter on the scene. Children were screaming and coughing in the mayhem.

Great, so we’re now going full Gaza on these people.

Look, I’m all about having rules, laws and adhering to them OK? But demonizing these people before they’ve been given the opportunity to petition for asylum, sending American troops to block their entry, separating families, TERRORIZING them and now, if true, launching tear gas grenades inside the border of a sovereign nation, well that’s going too damn far.

What’s it going to take to reign this lawless misadministration in and curb the madman’s powers?

Nice work Fat Donny.

You create an International crisis, once more embarrassing the United States Of America. Of course you are happy because you get what you wanted all along. Fear and loathing of the majority of the free world.

Can someone please define “High Crimes and Misdemeanors”?

Is firing tear gas across an international border technically an act of war‽

I was going to say that the Trump maladministration had plenty of warning that this caravan was coming, so what did they do? They put on a show for the base to show how fucking tough we are. They should of prepped the ports, they should have made a plan, there are so many things that could have been done ahead of their arrival to make thing run a little bit better, but that’s not what they’re about. They wanted a fiasco now they’re going to have a fiasco.

Doubtful he can even find his puny manhood underneath all those folds of fat. Unlikely he’s seen it in decades.

We’re at a tipping point on this issue of immigration from Central America, an issue so complex on so many levels. (My niece’s husband is from Honduras, and his stories about the horror there, from even 10 years ago, make me gasp.) The twisted process we’ve set up here -and haven’t addressed for years because of Republican stonewalling- is almost hopelessly inadequate and outdated.

And we have an executive administration not competent to organize the coat closet in a kindergarten.

I sincerely hope an International Tribunal will get Trump, Nielsen, Kelly, and Miller at some point. We’re way over the line and out of control at this point.

shot tear gas into Mexico

No blatant violations of international law there. /s

Then again, US Courts have repeatedly ruled that it’s fine and dandy to use lethal force against Mexican youths if they are — gasp! — suspected of throwing rocks.

Trump is objectively evil

Tear gas is not generally a lethal weapon, but it is most definitely a weapon.

So now, under Herr Trump, the United States is violating the sovereignty of another nation by firing weapons into that nation’s territory.

I’m ashamed of this country that this is happening. And I’ll be far more ashamed if/when it continues. Damn us all for allowing this!

Strictly speaking, it’s up to Mexico to decide whether or not that sovereign nation regards this as an act of war.

But they’d certainly have ample precedent in international law for so deciding.

He’s defying the court order, no? And now they are in violation of Posse Comitatus I would think.

Goddamn it

This is probably the warm up for what they may do next. Soon what will be the difference between what goes on between Israel and Palestine.
This makes me furious and there has to be something we can do about it.
