Functionally, there’s no deal. He’ll sign it and go for national emergency money as well. Sen. David Perdue (R-GA), a close Trump ally and border hawk who has worked with the White House on legislation that would dramatically reshape immigration law, also sounded hopeful about the proposed agreement.

Trump’s “monument” is small and shaped like a mushroom, if eye-witness reports are to be believed.
The money in the agreement is for repair of existing fencing/barriers.
No new construction is being authorized.
I like the headline, but the lead could just as well have been:
“dumbass, please listen to us senators who need to get reelected in 2020, not to your nazi reject Stephen Miller, the toothpick harpy, and the FOX news wingers”
P.s. I really hope Trump goes with the crazy, as it would force the Republicans to either (a) shut down the government, or (b) vote for this thing - which would get 60 votes in the senate - and force Trump to veto it, or own it.
