Discussion: Trump's Overseas Biden Insults Were A Bridge Too Far For Some Republicans

But those same Republicans are back on the Trump Toll Bridge today.

Yeah, rethugs sent their concern. What next?

Does that mean they won’t support him anymore. No! So what’s the point?

Lol. THIS was the bridge too far?

Color me unimpressed and unconvinced that the willfully ignorant and uber hypocritical trumpee sycophants believe their savior could do any wrong.

Tots and Pears for the country from Repubs. Then back to business as usual.

The phrase “Bridge too far” suggests a strong reaction of the ‘I am getting off this train, fast’ sort. This isn’t that. These are some sharp criticisms, but in the long run they are absolutely meaningless.

Except for the week long tanty Trump is going to indulge in as a result of the rebukes. His inevitable wild flailing - especially if he strikes out (again) at Fox or other fanfaves may lead to a few more folks (not the elected ones, but those who vote in elections) to take a step back and start looking for alternatives.

Let the Trump tanty* begin!

*tanty - short for tantrum, with oodles of derision in tone when used.

Is susan collins ill? Why hasn’t she expressed concerns? Serious concerns.

“It is a sign of the enormous place that Joe Biden is occupying in the President’s worldview at the moment,” added the Washington Examiner’s Byron York.

Maybe Donald Trump keeps going bankrupt because he has a habit of letting other, more successful people live rent-free in his head.

“I think they agree in their assessment of former Vice President Joe Biden."

Wow. Have to say SHS is more blunt than I expected.

So the overt Trump-backing Russians efforts in the last election was OK and was not a “bridge too far?”

How about the other 1,000,000 nonsense / crazy / unsafe / detrimental things Trump has done since entering office?

Agreeing with a North Korean dictator over the Memorial Day weekend is a slap at our remaining Korean War veterans. Did they freeze and bleed for this ?

The idea of leaving politics at the water’s edge has been violated time and time again, and pretty much only by Republicans, but somehow AOC is the enemy of freedom. For God’s sake.

It’s amazing that Binky Bonespurs’ head is thick enough to hold both Speaker Pelosi AND Vice-President Biden inside for such a long span of time.
Thin skin, thick head and zero brain mass.

Golly gee…I’m so comforted to hear Lindsay say how very wrong this was. not

But I’m totally uncomfortable with media giving the sorry affair oxygen.

Is there any trolling by tRump that you will not break your necks trying to put in front of us?

They never left it. They just did the ‘Veterans rah-rah day cheer’ without meaning a god damn word of it.

Note to Lindsay Graham, who’s on-record history apparently only begins in 2016.
The Japanese respect Trump as a “strong leader” the same way they pinch their nostrils when passing a factory that renders animal by-products.

If Trump’s infantile jabs at Biden from Japan are the “Bridge too Far” for these few GOP members, one must ask where they were for all of his preceding crimes, atrocities and idiocies and why they’ll continue to hide when confronted with all the subsequent sick things this foaming psychopath will do between now and 2020.

Again, my grand children will read all about it in a likely history of the GOP in the 21st Century yet to be published titled "Profiles in Cowardice"
