Wait until they discover crown and throne costs are off budget…
…portraits. Don’t forget the portraits.
We will discover there is no such thing as a deficit hawk so long as it’s a Republican ballooning the debt in 5,4,3,2,1…
Cheney: Ronald Reagan taught us that deficit doesnt matter. It only matters if a Dem is incharge.
I fail to see how these deficit hawks can stop Trump’s budget plans. He’s going to accomplish over 90% of his agenda on “Day One” (insert Hallelujah Chorus here), so there’ll barely be time to register objections, let alone actually put a halt to anything.
Economics from the “no problem, just borrow everything, then default, go bankrupt and pay pennies on the dollar” guru.
He thinks you can do this with the US deficit. Anyone who tries to straighten him out will get a blank look or “you’re fired!”
Ah…Dynamic Scoring
Dynamic scoring would require that they include in their estimates any changes in the economy and the workforce resulting from tax legislation in the future. This would almost certainly mean including the assumption that tax cuts increase economic output, bringing in more government revenue in the long term that would help make up for the money lost to the cuts.
That’s GOP for “unicorns sh!tting gold bricks”.
Who cares?
Here’s what makes the GOP/Teatrolls happy…how it works in their minds…
Black guy in WH - Attack him with national deficit and debt.
White guy in WH - Attack the blacks.
But what they are failing to take into account is that Trump will abandon Constitutional requirements and stiff all of the stiffs performing the budget ballooning work for the US…
A Trump presidency will most certainly mean aideu to “Full Faith and Credit”. The US Treasury will essentially be issuing junk bonds.
And who gets to pay for the Bacchanalia festivals? And 1st class airfare to Slovenia?
And of course the hair products.
I’m guessing the hair products would come out of the defense budget.
Where everything is retail.
Trump: My accountants tell me that my budget will result in a surplus, possibly HUGE surplus. I may reveal my numbers after I am POTUS. You will have to trust me.
“Trump’s Economic Plan Runs Afoul Of Deficit Hawks By Ballooning The Debt”
Brings to mind a verse by the Late Jimi Hendrix:
"You jump in front of my car when you, you know all the time that
Ninety miles an hour, is the speed I drive.
You tell me it’s alright, you don’t mind a little pain.
You say you just want me to take you for a ride.
You’re just like crosstown traffic, so hard to get through to you.
Crosstown traffic, I don’t need to run over you.
Crosstown traffic, all you do is slow me down
And I’m trying to get on the other side of town."
Too bad Lester Holt won’t be asking him about any of this specifically…as the debate topics are so fucking nebulous and ill-defined as to be almost meaningless.
Lester Holt’s topics for the first debate:
- "America’s Direction" Lemme guess…its upwards and onwards, or maybe its even forward, continuing the legacy of President Obama. No one will admit going backwards is what we need, unless Trump can convince viewers the 1950’s or even the 1850’s were the good old days.
- "Achieving Prosperity" Lemme guess…its trickle down magic unicorns with pots of gold and school and daycare vouchers by the fistful, or growing the middle-class from the bottom up and making the rich pay their fair share.
- "Securing America" Lemme guess…its kicking everyone out of the country we don’t like and building a wall around fortress America, or building bridges and sharing in the American dream and learning a modicum of decency and tolerance in learning to live together and appreciate one another.
Done. I just saved everyone 90 minutes of watching this dumbass debate that’s about to happen.
So, which one of those topics falls under “deficits” again? All? None? Its all been one big amorphous mess of a Presidential election season really in the actual reporting.
I can’t stomach any of this shit anymore. The double standards have been outrageous, and the TV media has their heads up their collective asses. I can’t watch anymore, and I’m just about at the point where I can’t read anymore about this election until election day. I don’t care what Donald Trump, his spawn or his hired goons say daily. And I sure as hell don’t see how we’re even close to seeing the same sort of attention paid to serious policy in this election. Its so much easier to see the Trump outrage of the day…because he’s so fucking crazy.
The coverage has been horrid. If anyone thinks real policies are about to be discussed in these upcoming debates, I can assure you the only thing the TV media will run with, even if Hillary alone tries to address policy, will be more of the same shit they’ve run with for the last year…inanities, superficialities, and lame analysis based on one-liners, gotcha moments, and “atmospherics”. Oh, and Trump’s ability to bogart the stage with antics and insults, or come off as more subdued, whichever he chooses right before he comes out on stage will be the big takeaway by most of the punditocracy…
They really have no shame, much like the leading candidate of the Republican party this year.
Tea Party Disaster!!
It’ll be a yuge and bigly classy USA bankruptcy, trust me…
