Discussion: Trump Withdraws From Iran Nuclear Deal In Blow To US Allies
President Clean-up, Trump’s successor, is going to have a lot on her plate
We’ll have to elect another black president to clean up the mess - like Obama after W. Or an immigrant. Or, as you suggest, a woman. A white privileged guy wouldn’t take the job.

(I forget which comedian to give credit to for the original joke.)

LOL…

…just…LOL…

You get the subtext, right? How it dovetails completely with the “erase Obama’s legacy” first part, right? Lemme help:

“Trump can negotiate a better deal to prevent nuclear Iran…AND THEN WE CAN TAKE THE CREDIT THIS TIME.”

So very very much of what motivates them is trying to make sure they get the credit that they will DELUDE themselves into believing they can blow up the Iran deal to take away the credit from President Too-Tan, and that Iran will somehow come back to the negotiating table to give them an equal or even better deal that they get to take credit for. They are literally so stupid as to believe that this isn’t it…that this isn’t the last straw as far as Iran is concerned…that there is absolutely no reason on God’s green Earth that will bring Iran back to the table willing to cut a deal with Trump that makes Obama’s deal look bad…or even come back to the table AT ALL. What a desperate, self-serving farce these people are.

Best we can hope for is Iran and the rest of the world ignore Donald’s foot stamping tantrum and go on as before except that all of Iran’s business goes to Europe.

Unfortunately, once we label them a terrorist country that come with the sanctions, any country that wishes to do business with the US can’t do business with Iran. He won’t be happy until he has fucked-up the whole world - and even then he won’t be happy because he is a miserable prick.

 1. Russia helped Iran establish their nuclear program to begin with
 2. Russia and Iran want to keep Assad in place and the region in turmoil
 3. Rising oil prices mean more rubles for a faltering Russian economy (and Putin’s oligarchs)

Naw he just played himself again.

He’s just doing another day as a backward alien in a (barely) human suit.

I agree he was just puppeted by his master.

I liked the first draft of this article better

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump is railing against the Iran nuclear agreement as “a horrible, one-sided deal” based on a lie.

Thinking? Kelly has been wishing and hoping (and probably praying) to no effect. The Adult got screwed by the barely functioning illiterate. The Republican Party deserves all the ill will it gets in the Midterms for thinking anyone can reason with such a rich slob of a Mafia hood. Impeachment should have taken place last year when Comey was fired. Now our nation faces global censure and alienation by the civilized world.

Who would have thought that Kim and Khomeini would have been seen as the rational ones just one year ago.

What a moron- the only nation isolated by this act is the U.S.; our Allies will continue the deal without us.

And looking to the future why would any adversary agree to a deal with the U.S. knowing that it lives on a whim. I wonder what North Korea thinks of this move?

We would be remiss if we did not give credit where credit is due: Once again, we must thank the Bernie Bros Dead-Enders, the Steiners, and the other assorted purity scolds and narcissistic nihilists who voted for Trump, voted third party, or didn’t vote at all because blah, blah, blah, argle bargle. Fuck you very much, dickheads! Fuck you all sky-high then, now, and forever. This is your fault. Yours alone. You.

I mean, you realize in their minds that there can be NO loose ends, right? What happens in 10 years if Iran still has no nukes, keeps satisfying the inspectors and a relative level of peace and calm descends on the middle east while this agreement is in place? That’s right…Obama gets lauded. Un-fucking-acceptable to them. Highest priority is making his presidency as if it never happened so that there can be no risk whatsoever that anything good happens he can get credit for doing. After all, that might lead to people voting another “one of them” into office…and they wouldn’t be able to warn people “remember what happened last time?”

AND AS SOMEONE MENTIONED EARLIER TODAY, TPM: STOP FUCKING SAYING “WITHDRAWS.” THERE IS NO SUCH THING. WE ARE “BREACHING” OR “VIOLATING” THE AGREEMENT. PERIOD.

If they are wiped out, a very large part of the Middle East would go with them as per the following.

Nuclear weapons delivery mechanisms include Jericho 3 missiles, with a range of 4,800 km to 6,500 km (though a 2004 source estimated its range at up to 11,500 km), and which are believed to provide a second-strike option, as well as regional coverage from road mobile Jericho 2 IRBMs. Israel’s nuclear-capable ballistic missiles are believed to be buried so far underground that they would survive a nuclear attack. Additionally, Israel is believed to have an offshore nuclear second-strike capability, using submarine-launched nuclear-capable cruise missiles, which can be launched from the Israeli Navy’s Dolphin-class submarines. The Israeli Air Force has F-15I and F-16I Sufa fighter aircraft are capable of delivering tactical and strategic nuclear weapons at long distances using conformal fuel tanks and supported by their aerial refueling fleet of modified Boeing 707’s.
