I don’pt know if Bolton believes that, but he’s certainly willing to take advantage of the fact that Trump and Methbilly Nation absolutely believe it. Take 5 minutes to look at Faux News KKKomments and you’ll see. They live in a delusional intellectual wasteland in which they’re the undisputed king of playground bullies who can kick anyone’s butt at the Dairy Queen after school.
Attempting to wage war on Iran would end us. Period. Everyone with a brain in their fucking head knows it. we can’t afford it…not in treasure nor lives…and we cannot win it, no matter how fancy you try to get with defining the win conditions.

trumps generals might be the ballast to his latest daily insanity (we have evening for a dozen revision to trumps reality, especially if his generals start leaking furiously, or go on Faux news.
Our military budget is stuff full of money for big war toys, but lack of troop readiness is something even generals admit to. They can’t count on the national guard like was done in Iraq and Afghanistan.
trump would need to reinstate the draft. I’d doubt that would go over well with trumpsters.

Has there ever been a more incompetent group of conservatives in history? They just keep making the same bungling mistakes to score short term political points and end up destroying all of their long term goals in the process.
I fully expect Israel to be wiped off the face of the earth in another 20 years, and I’m not sure that’s a bad thing any longer. This religious/racial war has gone on way too long. Take Jerusalem out of the equation and people can get back to worrying about real things like hunger, disease and water shortages.
We can’t keep letting despots in other countries like Bibi and Putin dictate our foreign policy. Republicans continue to destroy any progress the rest of the world tries to make on things like nuclear disarmament, global warming and human rights. If Americans don’t vote in great numbers these Midterm, our nation will deserve to be marginalized globally by China for leaving the GOP in power.

Yes, this. I can’t even find snark on a day like this. I curse the lazy fuckers who had no desire to learn anything about Dump before casting their vote, and now turn a blind eye while he shreds our social compacts, our governmental safeguards, and our reputation throughout the world. But, heck, they’ll gladly march - or rather goose step - right back into the polling booth and do it all over again.
What exactly am I supposed to understand about fascists and their blind supporters? I apparently require another scolding for not being tolerant enough.

The last time I read this Herman Goering quote was just before Bush lied America into the disastrous Iraq War.
“Naturally, the common people don’t want war … but after all it is the leaders of a country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in every country.”
That said, while we need to be concerned about another stupid war, I do not believe Putin intends to start a war by directing his puppet Trump to end the Iran treaty.
My analysis is that the only world leaders who are happy with Trump pulling America out of the Iran deal is Vladimir Putin and Bebe Netanyahu.
Putin is happy because it creates more chaos that gives Russia more opportunity, reduces American influence in the world and raises the price of oil.
Netanyahu is happy because he wants regime change in Iran. That is Netanyahu wants American blood to conquer Iran for Israel.
The difference, and why Netanyahu will be disappointed and Israel will be worse off as a result of Trump pulling out of the Iran deal, is that Russia does not want America to go to war with Iran because that would put American troops closer to Russia. That is Israel wants stability on its terms and Putin wants chaos on his terms and when it comes to American foreign policy under Trump, America serves at the pleasure of Putin.
So the result of Trump’s presidency not just here but everywhere when it comes to foreign policy is and will be to make Israel less safe, reduce American influence and power, cause economic hardship as the price of oil surges, and increase Putin’s influence.

This was a foregone conclusion.
It is a TRIFECTA for Trump.
- It gives his buddy Netanyahu a Sabre to Rattle to distract the Israelis from his blatant corruption and mismanagement of the Israeli economy (sound familiar?)
- It boosts the price of Oil and Gas for his Dark Master Putin, and throws the Western Alliances into turmoil. Putin is grinning over this like a Cheshire Cat. (his Oil Company buddies are happy about it too.)
- It strokes Trump’s massive EGO by, again, destroying something positive that the man he envies and hates more than any other in the world, Barack Obama, accomplished.
- It helps China solidify their hold over that part of the Near-East; Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan by showing the residents of those countries that the USA will tear up any agreement you make with it just for short-term domestic political gain.
- It signals to North Korea the exact same thing. The USA cannot be trusted to live up to their agreements.
and number six: It proves to the entire world that Trump is a Fucking Moron.
Also, how will the US increasing sanctions make any fucking difference when the REST OF THE WORLD says they will still honor the agreement and not impose sanctions?
It makes the USA look like the biggest fucking idiots in the world (just like our President.)

I betcha President Dotard still has not read the Iranian nuclear deal. Calling it a ‘one-sided deal’ besmirches all our partner-allies that signed on. This hasty act will have lasting negative consequences all because of Dotard’s hatred of Obama.

We aren’t going to war with Iran - Iran has no interest in going to war with us. If it did, it would already have obliterated Israel. That’s the country in the worst position in all of this, nukes or no nukes.
