“We are getting crushed! Why can’t we get a deal?”
There’s one basic thing you don’t understand and that is the word NO.
Besides that exactly what have you offered in exchange Mr. Dealer?
Break out the tiny violins.
I like the way that, at first glance, the photo makes the ceiling lamp look like a blank thought bubble over Mulvaney’s head while his face has the deer-in-the-headlights look.
Cry more, Donald.
(and if I never again have to hear every different kind of negotiated discussion pissed out of his anus-like mouth as a “deal”, it’ll be too soon)
“I’ve been yelling and crying and pouting and banging on the table and lying on the floor refusing to get up, but Mom still won’t give me ice cream. Why can’t I get her to give me ice cream? It’s always worked with everyone else.”
I thought the same thing. I wanted to write in, “what the hell did I think I would be doing?”
At first I thought that funky light was a thought bubble. Figured maybe we were being asked to suggest what he was thinking.
I was going to offer “What the Fuck?” but then that’s my standard response to any Dump news. Perhaps the “seasoned” associates in the White House are more subdued, resigned to their fate from having sold their souls to the devil.
My only disappointment with the polling and news coverage of the shutdown is that there’s no focus on Mitch McConnell’s role in enabling Trump’s shutdown. There are enough Republican senators who are feeling the pressure and would vote yes on a clean authorization bill to reopen the government, but the Majority Leader won’t allow a vote to occur. The public needs to be reminded of this daily.
So maybe it’s safe to say that Mulvaney’s career at the white house is coming to a end soon.
I bet he remembers all those voices in his head that said, Don’t do it.
This was as predictable as buttercups in spring. You push back the least bit and he’s out of ideas. He just throws himself on the ground in a storm of sobbing. No deals, fatso. You’ll take this beating and like it because this is a gentle mother’s kiss compared to what we’ve got planned.
Agree 100%.
I have been thinking Trump has something on McConnell and wife.
There’s no deal, mr. president*, because you’re refusing to negotiate, and because when you had a deal before, you backed out of it. So no one trusts you, the great deal-maker. That’s why. You fucked it up, Donald.
You’re getting crushed BECAUSE YOU CAUSED IT.
(And the chinless turtle)
If McConnell had any sort of ethics he’d start cooperating with Mueller and work towards nullifying that kompromat.
I think it’s very possible McConnell mostly refuses to be the fall guy for Trump’s screwup. He overrides and the base will be howling for his head. He wants Trump to fix this. So we wait.
Crushed is good. Taxpayers hear more every day how the shutdown is cheating us out of services we bust ass to pay for. And we know whose puppet is doing it to us.
I’ve seen news coverage that focused on McConnell’s silence, neglect of duty, and enabling. But you’re right, there isn’t enough about that. It should be mentioned in every story about the shutdown that mentions Trump and/or Pelosi and/or Schumer. Every story. He’s supposed to be the leader of the Senate, but he’s not doing any leading that I can see.
Somebody turned on the meat grinder again and trump is going to feed it a few more useless employees that just couldn’t make him successful at what he imagines a “WIN” is.
responsibility is on them and not thee. lol
I’m thinking Mueller does
Donald always whines about how UNFAIR the treatment of Flynn, Manafort and others has been. Has he been FAIR to the workers that are laid off because he is a sissy bully?
