Discussion: Trump Urges Dems To Drop The 'Ridiculous Bullsh*t' And Work With Him

Donnie two scoops had two years that he did not need Democrats, the GOP controlled everything.

And, funny thing is, Democrats would work with him now, if there was any point of agreement.

However, we know what this really means. Democrats in congress are still going to investigate. And we all demand the Mueller report.

He wants Dems to work with him on infrastructure and drug pricing. Gee, really big things in our present situation and I know he doesn’t care about any of it. All he cares about now is saving himself from the law.

But what about the children?

Beating Trump won’t be as easy as a lot of Democrats think. Look at the crowd here. They are attracted to him. They will vote early and, if they have their way, often.

I urge tRump to stop the ridiculous bullshit and just do something other than try to pad his family’s pockets.

After 2 years of watching how Trump treats his friends and allies, the safest option is to be his opponent. The Dems have clearly learned that lesson even if Republicans haven’t.

Pessimism and paranoia show a high likelihood of emanating from bad actors.

Reminder, friends: do not feed the trolls, bots, and surrender-monkeys.

“He warned that those behind the probe ‘would be held accountable,’ aired his grievances about the ‘unfair’ media coverage and seethed that the matter was an attempt ‘to tear up the fabric of our great democracy.’”
Will his pipe bomb building backers be the ones holding his accusers “accountable”?

Which policy initiative does he want their help on?

Attacking SNL?

Forcing an elected Representative to resign for doing his job?

Help me out here.

Gotta say, I was underwhelmed by Trump’s victory lap speech as a political statement. He was clearly breaking down mentally. As for the MAGA faithful, those rallies largely did not save his party from the 2018 ass kicking across the board. I suppose one could give him credit for the FL/MO/IN Senate races, but then you’d also have to have him ‘take the L’ for the AL, WV, MT, WI, AZ, PA, OH, NV and other races. It would still be an overall losing record in the Senate based on where he focused his efforts. The only thing that saved the Senate for the GOP at the end of the day was the 2018 Senate map.

As for 2020, I think Trump will be much easier to beat than we think. You can safely ignore him. All you have to do is have a message and policy agenda that your voters like, hit Trump where he is weak, and focus on voter turnout. You can ignore his sideshows and the media scramble. Nancy did this in 2018 and we beat him by 8 points. I’d say 2018 was a lot harder than 2020 will be for a few reasons: 1. GOP had a Senate map and House districts structurally in their favor, 2. We were running against candidates who had the ability to separate themselves from Trump. It took a very focused message on voting records and on developing a narrative to prove to people that a vote for GOP candidate x was a vote for Trump.

I know people get freaked out by how his MAGA voters will turnout for him, but this guy got under 46% of the vote, less than Romney and just slightly more than McCain. The odd distribution of 3rd party voters got him over the top in the EC. Clean that up and Dems will win fairly handily.

Exactly, all media is making huge money off unthinking coverage of this president. And the Republican party, through tax law, is lining the pockets of the corporate ownership.

They will use false equivalency and Billions in free media to protect this gravy train.

With such a vain idiot at the helm, the media is likely to get itself a war to cover as well… sweet, sweet Pulitzer prize generating war.

Only by about year six will they stop and let the drumbeat of Impeachment penetrate and then profit off that coverage.

“With an eye on local matters, Trump touted his support for the automobile industry and announced he would reverse part of his administration’s own budget plan, which had proposed a 90 percent spending cut for the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative.”
