and whiskers on kittens. But that’s musical theatre and hasn’t entered the black hole in his cranium.

The orange has nothing to fear, or does he? He has accomplished what many feared and that is the complete takeover of the government. His cabinet is full proof. The lawsuits against him can be overturned. Talking about checks and balances, there are none left. The far right takeover is now completed. Bannon has planned well and has succeeded. Am I wrong?

You meant “Blood is thicker than Whiskey” ? We are talking about Kushner and Bannon

I’m watching C-span and Sheldon Whitehouse is tearing Sessions a new one and soon Franken will do the same. It’s a replay of the hearing which I didn’t watch live. It’s a bright moment on a gloomy day. “Rs have made a Faustian deal with trump to get his voters, but have sold their souls.” Fuckin’ A Whitehouse.

It’ll be an interesting test of the theory that the President needs the media…

If Trump refuses to put his message out anywhere other than FOX… will he be able to get do anything?

I increasingly think he just wants his opponents, and the media, to think he is “an ignorant, scared little 7-year-old trapped inside a bloated old fool’s body.”

And while they’re distracted by what are substantively less meaningful disputes, he and Republicans push through the meat of their agenda with less attention and resistance.

Cool. About all the Democrats can do is to say the right things. I’m glad they are.

Steve,
How can you be sure the bust wasn’t removed, then placed back when Miller highlighted its absence. Miller said he looked for it and it wasn’t there. I wouldn’t put anything past these f’ers

Of course that’s a possibility. A possibility a journalist would account for. And upon accounting for it look about the room for 2-3 other journalists and request they take note of it. Then when the story is published you have multiple sources backing you up. Failing that you don’t publish.

He talks about Frederick Douglass like he’s Freddie, some guy he knows well that lives down the street. Frederick Douglass is no longer living. Trump clearly has no idea who he was, and just vamped for the hell of it.

This is so embarrassing.

On AA history month there ought to be a prominent display of the 1970’s Trump housing discrimination settlement.

Yeah, maybe he had given the bust to Rick Perry, for his hunting camp “Niggerhead” ?

Miller apologized for his mistake a couple hours after the first story. But the Trump people keep harping on this as if it was a widely reported story (it wasn’t) that has never been retracted. Notice that every time they don’t like some other story about themselves (which is about every two minutes) they once again bring up the mostly unknown story about the MLK bust.

Franken unloaded on Cruz who wasn’t in attendance, Cornyn defended Cruz and Franken unloaded on him next. It was a great few minutes.

There’s not a single Peepee detractor, no one that has been watching him over the years including his biographer, who believes it’s an act. If you listen to him in any of his old TV or radio appearances he’s the same then as he is today. Putin didn’t go all in for Peepee because he thought he’s merely a crook who would enact a Conservative agenda. He went with Peepee for a reason, because he knows he’s unstable.
