Discussion: Trump To Sign Executive Order To Move Voter Fraud Investigation Forward

I’m beginning to think that Alex Jones gets HIS information from Trump.

Pay this minimal attention - keep your eye on the Russian thing.

This may be more prevention than cure… how hard is it going to be to register voters if there’s some sort of sword-of Damocles hanging over activist heads, one of those false-gravitas ethics committees run by hypocrites?

It makes the task even harder. The founders would be ashamed,

Yes but I never forget that people have died for this and almost died and they aren’t going to take it from this government this time either.

Yes, he DOES own foreign courses, now doesn’t he?

Yes, we.

I should have put it that way you’re right.

You know all those people who said Jade Helm was just a training exercise? Government-paid actors.

You know all those people who claim they weren’t rounded up during Jade Helm, and claim that they don’t know anyone who was? Yeah. More actors.

Isn’t this really about voter suppression? Instead of talking about how stupid and deranged he is, shouldn’t we be talking about what is really going on?

There is a pattern of Trump making seemingly irrational statements that we then look down upon from an assumed higher rational level only to discover later that his seeming irrationally was part of a larger purpose. He won the election doing exactly that, and has continued to this day. Take his opening day pronouncements about Obamacare, which seem to be pointless, but are having the effect of destabilizing the exchange market for 2018 renewals.

I think before we say he is crazy or stupid we need to be sure we truly understand what is going on, and focus on what is really important.

He’s crazy he’s stupid and he is not Machiavelli. He is a 3 year old.

And we have already scored against him hugely.

his committee will not use taxpayer money to investigate the President’s claims."

maybe Mexico will pay for it…

…thinks he’s The Prince, though, and someone just handed that 3yr old royal ass the world’s biggest sceptre… and he has trouble with “the biggest” anything.

This smells to me like a pretext for a round of voter suppression. The "3-5 million is enough, off course to make the election results disappear in the minds of the gullible. But if the “voter fraud” is happening solely in those pesky Blue states, wouldn’t it help team Trump down the road to cut the number of voters there? I’m afraid that were’e in for some serious rigging here.
One interesting aspect to all of this is that we might see whether there are Republicans who have some integrity when they are faced with an unconstitutional tsunami. My bet is that there aren’t many.

Has anybody actually read this “executive order.” Yesterday their was an “executive order” about the pipelines that really didn’t do anything other than say it was OK to move forward.

I would feel a lot better about the argument that Trump is stupid if Democrats had not lost the House, the Senate, the Presidency, the Supreme Court and the majority of State governments to the Republican Party. At a certain point, we need to take a hard look at just who is stupid, don’t we?

Don’t get me wrong, I cannot imagine a worse disaster for America that President Trump. I am saying that it seems to me that Democrats have fallen into a trap of thinking that because our policies are usually more intelligent, we are more intelligent. Right now, at least in political terms, the evidence does not bear that out.

This was predictable. Trump met with Kris Kobach yesterday and it looks like Kobach will be helping to guide the “investigation”. (http://www.kansas.com/news/politics-government/article128687579.html) Why wouldn’t Trump and Kobach do this? Kobach got away with the Crosscheck program in almost every state he proposed it, except CA. In fact, he got the states to pay for it. And after the last election, Kobach and Co. were ready with press releases and “case studies” and examples of vote fraud for reporters (see, for example: http://wgme.com/news/i-team/registered-to-vote-in-3-states-i-team-investigates-before-election-day) to sell even more states on Crosscheck.

It’s no secret that Kobach and Co. want to run Crosscheck at the federal level. It’s been very, very successful at knocking Dem voters off the voting rolls in Ohio, Georgia, Kansas, even Iowa (and more) and, in many cases, for “privacy” reasons, they’ve been able to hide what they are doing, keep the list of voters removed secret, even destroy the files. So, why wouldn’t Kobach and Trump want an investigation in to vote fraud? The last dozen “investigations” have been very useful for the GOP. Make fun of it if you want. And, sure, it’s stupid but when Trump’s Kobach driven “investigation” finds 10 million people registered in two states and deletes all of those names and then closes the paperwork down to protect the innocent, it will not be half as funny.

I think that might be valid for election purposes but not now. The Democrats are fighting back.

And so are we. And the GOP just got what they wished for and the prime operating rule of life is be careful what you wish for.

They are all going down with the SS Trumpski.

BINGO! I keep repeating, where was Kobach in the weeks before the election?

This just makes the voter registration chore ever more vital to the OVERWHELMING DEMOCRACY that is our only tool we need to own our country.

I would say “again” but has it ever really been that way?

Then J. Beauregard Sessions will sic his narcs on California’s legal cannabis, seizing money and property. He’s a big fan of civil asset forfeiture, AKA legalized theft by police with no due process.
I expect Trump to do this once he has an AG and a governor, senator or congressman in a pot-legal state pisses him off. He’s all about vengeance and now he has the power of the presidency to enforce his tantrums.
