Most of the women I know have healthy sex lives, and yet magically few if any children. Must be in the water all over the country because it couldn’t possibly be birth control.

Actually, the very definition of “contraception” is “conception prevented.” So yes, it works. Its very name says so.
It’s like I said: years ago, in a discussion I had online re: Roe v. Wade, a woman once told me that the endpoint intention for the fundie nutjobs wasn’t to get rid of Roe, it was Griswold. If the right to privacy is shot down, there’s no foundation for Griswold and then we really ARE looking at some version of The Handmaid’s Tale.
