Will this ever end?

" Thank you to Saudi Arabia, but let’s go lower!"…sadly, Donnie, I am sure that you can indeed go lower than you already are.

Uh, I was under the impression that lower oil prices weren’t good for Rump’s boss (Vlad the Impaler). Russia’s economy, such as it is, relies heavily on oil prices. In addition, the EU continues to get oil from Iran and ignores this country’s demands to impose sanctions. Didn’t work out quite the way the current WH regime thought it would.

As always…

With the tremendous increase in oil production in the US over the last decade, lower oil prices have a negative impact on large parts of the economy, while helping others. It is basically a wash in the bigger picture. This statement is idiotic in a number of ways. However, since the goal is to make us feel more kindly towards the murderers Trump has decided to embrace, I guess in his mind it is good PR?

Notice he isn’t talking about the stock market much these days.

Sure, I just trampled all over international norms of human rights and made myself into an American Mussolini, but I made them give us cheaper oil for a couple of weeks. Brilliant victory, Donald. You won!

The way Trump is dropping his pants and bending over to Crown Prince MbS might make Vladimir Putin jealous, he though Trump was his bitch.

I posit the Saudis could order the assassination of a U.S. military General and Trump would fight tooth and nail over the imposition of punishment, penalties or sanctions for doing it.

“He was a bad General, a Hillary supporter!”

Until I see something less than $3.79 at the pump, I call bullshit.

I don’t think his $82 assertion is based in fact, Surprise!

The public’s preoccupation with the price of gasoline mystifies me. I fill up once a week, drive a fuel efficient car with a 12 gallon tank. If you drive less than 15-20 miles a day to and from work, consolidate your errands and use your car judiciously WTF does it matter if you’re blowing $20-$30 or $40 a week on gas? Yes, for those driving a vehicle for a living it matters. But I know people that get wet-in-their-pants excited and drive to the opposite side of town because some station is 15 cents a gallon less than everyone else. They have a damned app on their phone that actually pings alerts telling them. Sheesh. Even with a 20 gallon behemoth of a vehicle they save $3 if they pull in on empty. And gave up 45 minutes of valuable time doing it.

Buy a damned car that gets 40 MPG and sweat why you haven’t called your mother in a month instead, not the damned price of gas. It’s ridiculous.

Remember when the phrase “no blood for oil” conveyed implications about your opponent’s political motivations–and your political opponent would, if pressed, deny having those motivations?
