Impeach him - he is long passed his pull date and has violated his oath to protect and defend the Constitution. Enough already.

Gotta say, Iā€™ve been an impeachment dove, so to speak, ready to take the long view. But we canā€™t have a leader of the worldā€™s only superpower liberal democracy whoā€™s this amoral, this unable to comprehend why accepting oppo research from a hostile foreign power is wrong. Itā€™s intolerable. Itā€™s sickening. It canā€™t stand, canā€™t be accepted. I still think we have to acknowledge the political realities and proceed accordingly. But thisā€”this wonā€™t do.

Me too, Iā€™ve been a slow and steady let the facts come out promoter The pace is no longer sustainable. He just invited Russia, China, NoKo, Saudi Arabia and many more to interfere without any impunity.

Heā€™s a fucking sociopath. No overarching moral system that he can comprehend. A person like that canā€™t be given the power of an American president. Itā€™s insanity.

I really couldnā€™t hear anything he said after he put his fingers in his ears and started to sing ā€œimpeach me now, i dare youā€.

Short answer: this development needs to be seen/treated as a continuing story.

True and thereā€™s nothing surprising about this. He is who he is. To me itā€™s the inability to even pretend to be otherwise that argues ever more strongly for immediate action.

Though heā€™s said this before, one of the things that irks me is this story being treated as a new story, while ignoring / forgetting that his lawyer (a former federal prosecutor) recently said that there was nothing wrong with foreign nationals interferring in an investigation.

Adding to, ā€˜son number threeā€™ dismissed the interference as a couple of Facebook ads.

Maybe Iā€™m an impassioned idiot, but this is the thing that is setting me over the edge. Thereā€™s no subtext at this point: for him there is no value for the structure and integrity of our government beyond personal benefit, and heā€™s apparently shouting from the rooftops that he feels thereā€™s nothing to stop him from doing as he pleases so long as it results in votes for him.

Heā€™s the President.

We use ā€˜what if Obama did?ā€™ as a bittersweet guide, but we tend to ignore / forget that most of ā€˜44ā€™sā€™ troubles were either ginned up or unintentionally inflicted.

Simply, Obama respected the office.

The same canā€™t be said about Trump and his enablers.

No, youā€™ve put your finger on the worst aspect out of many terrible ones. He literally does not understand why the leader of a liberal democracy should reject electoral help from a hostile foreign power. Heā€™s that pathologically amoral. And he says so on national TV because heā€™s not only amoral, heā€™s stupid.

Reminder: the DPRK is a really, really good hacking nation.

China, Russia, Iran too.

I am with you. Itā€™s time. Frankly, heā€™s said enough crap recently, that it shouldnā€™t be hard to convince the 5% or so that flipped from Obama to Trump that donnie is a threat to the country. Thereā€™s 25% or so that wonā€™t care, but we would never get them anyway.

Unless G-20 saves Trump from himself, Iā€™m more so worried about Russia being his friend than China.

As for Iran, theyā€™re just ā€˜smoke showingā€™ him.

This wonā€™t happen.
