Discussion: Trump Tells ABC: Sure, I'd Collude Again

LOL, he’s such an idiot.

I’m glad to see this story with Elaine Chao and McConnell growing some legs. In normal times it would be huge story. I hope it keeps growing and gets a lot more attention in hopes something will finally hurt Mitch enough to bring him down or at least cripple his hold on power.

As we’ve seen, nothing happens to trump because Mitch controls the Senate and won’t do anything. Time to break down that pillar of obstruction.

“It’s not interference, it’s information.” Kind of like the Steele Dossier, huh Donnie Dumbass.

Obama was right (in so many ways): “Trump is Fundamentally Unfit” (with the added advantage of supremely appropriate first letters)

Trump - F. U.

We have our own work to do here in PA but OMG if Mitch fell that would be awesome and every Democrat in the country would be loving you Kentuckians.

Part of it is he doesn’t want to be the leader of a liberal democracy, he wants to be a leader like those he admires overseas.

so that’s how you won last time, I never could figure out how such a dufus got elected. You cheated with a foreign governments’ help. Now if only there was a way to fix that some how.

Nancy? Where are you our fearless leader? Still waiting for him to self-impeach? Maybe he’ll just have a stroke so you don’t have to lift a finger and can go back to fundraising from large donors… after all, that is your only skill, right?

And Nancy is teaching every kid not to try if you may fail, even when trying is the only right thing to do. Our kids are getting some great lessons from both our political parties.

At some point even republicans will hafta admit trump’s utter immorality and venal approach to everything he does. He has zero concept of what it means to be president. The Constitution and our laws are only seen as advantages or impediments and not something to be obeyed.
Impeachment and indictment are too good for this evil being. The DoJ must change it’s non indictment policy. The president must be held accountable. This is the grossest admission to corruption I have ever seen in my more than 50 years of following politics. At least Nixon tried to keep his criminality out of public view. Trump is far too stupid and feels far too entitlted to bother with hiding his crimes.

So are we ready to impeach yet? Trump will give everything, anything away just like this last season of Veep depicted to reclaim the throne. He’ll give stuff to the Chinese, Saudis, Israelis, Russians and North Koreans (btw, I think Kim has offered to hack for Trump which is why Trump is basically in love with him), as long as they provide campaign dirt to help Trump win.

This is ‘Russia, if you’re listening’ 2.0. Don’t think otherwise. He’s able to do this with impunity because Mueller dropped the ball on that part of his probe, and Pelosi will not green light a formal impeachment inquiry. It’s both.

Recall that Pelosi has imposed a political threshold of support before even opening an inquiry. That has never happened in any of the prior impeachments. That is a political decision, not a legal one. It ties the hands of the committees, limits their options and enables Trump to do more stuff like this to normalize treason.

In 2016, Democratic congressional candidates were attacked by the Russians too. It wasn’t just Hillary. So, if Pelosi isn’t going to defend her House members by opening an impeachment inquiry, really what the hell are we all doing? There’s no 11 dimension chess. There is no secret plan, We just have a politician who has had a successful career making a tragic political mistake.

It’s really time to call your reps, protest, march and not give any hero worship to politicians even if you like them. It’s time for them to do their constitutional duty.

I don’t care what example he’s setting. This isn’t about the knock-on effect. It’s about a clear and grave abdication of his official oath to faithfully execute the Office and preserve, protect, and defend the constitution. That’s impeachable. So impeach.

We all rightfully trashed RMoney for his “Self-deport” nonsense… it is virtually the same BS.

Write her and tell her that. I wrote my Congress woman and Nancy letting them know it is time to begin an impeachment inquiry. Speaker Pelosi cannot respond to anonymous commenters on TPM but you have an opportunity to tell her yourself. I did.

Have you contacted the Speaker?

Come on guys. Don’t overreact.

Nancy Pelosi has everything under control. No need for impeachment. That would be very divisive.

Yes. As well as the judiciary committee and my own member of Congress (who happens to be on the committee) (multiple times). Have a town hall with my MoC this weekend. Intend to go and bring this issue up.
