Another thing the Navy does all the time: Invite 70 sailors from all the other vessels in port to attend a President’s speech, except those serving aboard the USS John S. McCain. Then when a handful of them show up anyway, they are turned away because their uniforms feature the insignia of the offending vessel.
Yeah. Happens all the time. NOT!
