“To me, John McCain — I wasn’t a fan, but I would never do a thing like that,” he added. “Now, somebody did it because they thought I didn’t like him. They were well-meaning, I will say.”

To all those guys denying it didn’t happen: Please explain, again !

But Cdr. Clay Doss, a spokesman for US navy’s Seventh Fleet, told the Associated Press that the tarp was on the ship on Friday but was removed by the time Trump arrived in Japan the following day. “All ships remained in normal configuration during the president’s visit,” he said.

Lieutenant Colonel Joe Buccino, a Pentagon spokesman, said the acting US defence secretary, Pat Shanahan, was not aware of the directive.

So the ship coverups were your idea then ?
If not then it is an indication of the poisonous sycophants you employ.

“I was very angry with John McCain because he killed health care,”

Since you have not been able to reverse what McCain did, is this a tacit admission that McCain was a better man?

Trump claims to have been ignorant

Quoted without comment.

When the reality was
“I was very angry with John McCain because he killed our plan to kill health care,”
There was no replacement and it would have killed a lot of people

The story I read discussed the tarp being placed at first, and then a support ship was brought along side to cover the name and the tarp was removed. That level of detail suggests someone is, shall we say, evading the truth.

POTUS, the pettiest man in Washington. ‘I hate John McCain and anybody that did this is a hero in my book!’

Since he’s so obsequious to the worst potentates in the world I’ll wait for him to defend the Vietcong who held McCain hostage.

See if you can get Christie on the phone

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie ® denied any involvement in a political payback scheme carried out by some of his top aides on Wednesday, saying the whole thing was “inappropriate and unsanctioned.”

“What I’ve seen today for the first time is unacceptable,” Christie said in a statement. “I am outraged and deeply saddened to learn that not only was I misled by a member of my staff, but this completely inappropriate and unsanctioned conduct was made without my knowledge.”
