I am hoping inwardly that some democrat wag in Congress yells “YOU LIE!!!” like that GOPer did so disrespectfully during Obama’s SOU speech. If I were in the audience I get tossed out cuz I’d throw rotten fruit matter most likely.

I think a perfect storm of two or three really serious crises at the same time will be necessary to take him down. The stock market currently is riding a classic bubble and it could crater. Trump’s budget looks like an authentic full bore clusterfuck, unless you are in the military. It could crater the economy. And we could easily be in a war by summertime with Iran or North Korea or both. Taken together these may make people in the middle question their support of this man.
Same here. I’ve been through pretty rough mood swings. After almost non-existent winter though, spring is coming, giving this gardener a little time to forget about this whole insanity while playing with soil. Which is a good thing…
… From 1990 to 2012 my area belonged to Zone 6b. Now we are in 7a. I fear after a string of warm winters in recent couple of years plus all the damage to be inflicted on the planet by this administration we may well find ourselves in Zone 8 within a decade (OK, this is actually depressing…

We are living in a time, and have been for a couple of decades, where “news” is totally corrupted by news networks like FOX and talk radio opinionators. A lot of people get their news & opinions only from these degraded sources and are taught to distrust other news sources that might provide more facts than what they want to hear. They can’t tell the difference between facts and opinions.

The problem with that (aside from the obvious war problems) is that his approval ratings would rise substantially at least initially, and wouldn’t decline much unless there was a military catastrophe, and I don’t want that.
Shows how bad things are in this country when a disgusting racist pig like Duke is getting so much attention.
