The grift that keeps on giving.

Not to much noise from GOP on this one that I can recall
"Justice
Antonin Scalia of the United States Supreme Court today bluntly
rejected demands that he step aside in a case involving Vice President
Dick Cheney, mocking criticism that a duck hunting trip the two were on
in January suggested he would be biased toward his longtime friend.Hours
later, the Sierra Club, which had formally asked Justice Scalia not to
participate in a case it had brought against the vice president, said it
would take no more legal action against the justice, even though it
believed his ``recusal was still warranted’’ to ensure public faith in
the integrity of the court:
Perhaps we should be right upfront on these sort of “controversies.” Go on the offensive and dare them to spend more tax dollars on ridiculous investigations.
That would have been the mainstream media. The tinfoil-wingnut brigade would have been all “They deliberately didn’t meet because then we would know the fix was in, so the fix must be in.”
Tarmacgate!
Jimmy Kimmel wo-man on the street interviews re: HRC’s honesty and their Lie-ability.
Your concern is duly noted.
I understand why you’re annoyed with darcy’s bullshit - we all are. I just ignore.
Are you calling Trump’s claim of heel spurs to avoid service heroic? You don’t think his influence contributed to this being an acceptable excuse for avoiding service? That’s quite a stretch (and I was not a supporter of the Viet Nam war). Also, labeling John McCain a coward is an assessment that almost no one accepts. Whether McCain was reckless is up for discussion, but he did refuse to be released from his war imprisonment because his fellow prisoners weren’t also being released. That isn’t cowardly.
We do allow a good bit of latitude in comments here, to accommodate varying viewpoints. However, I do find your personal comments to be over the line, so I’ll scrub the thread and give you a week to cool off.
I saw that last night. I cringed. A couple of the people being interviewed were so angry at the made up stories - stories they said they’d heard before (which was doubtful since the show made them up)
I hope these people saw themselves and are now embarrassed at how they were punked. I certainly would be.
I agree. Yes yes, they know each other, she’s the AG he’s the former president, they happened to be in the same place at the same time, yadda yadda yadda. Still, it is an unnecessary distraction that feeds the wingnuts.
The fact that this secret meeting was held in full public view is only proof that this meeting was actually a Double-Secret-Sneak Meeting!!1@!
Eleventeen dimensional chess play. There’s just no other way this can be explained.
I would imagine Hillary saying something like, “typical Bill, sometimes, especially when he is on his way to or from a golf game, he just doesn’t think.” Frankly this “sneak” meeting was witnessed and wasn’t exactly a secret. The two stumbled into each other at an airport. I ran into my minister at an airport a couple of times. I didn’t exactly confess my sins. We exchanged pleasantries and went about our business. In this case Bill had just finished a golf outing and was leaving, and Lynch and her husband were arriving. According to Lynch “Our conversation was a great deal about grandchildren, it was primarily social about our travels and he mentioned golf he played in Phoenix, . . . There was no discussion on any matter pending before the Department or any matter pending with any other body, there was no discussion of Benghazi, no discussion of State Department emails, by way of example I would say it was current news of the day, the Brexit decision and what it would mean,”
Lynch has zero to do with Trey’s hatchet job.
Desperate Donald hits the wall again.
Hillary is not the target of the investigation, Skippy.
Agreed. She is only a “target” in the minds of the New York Times editorial board and Republicans everywhere.
The good news
This story has no legs
the only folks who will care are the right wing talk radio/internet crowd.
They are a lost cause.
Good because there’s no story. hahahahahahahahahaha
How silly is this? Two people who happen to know each other run into each other at an airport.
