A tarmac has got to be one of the most public private meeting places ever… and exactly what nefarious activity were they supposed to be engaging in here anyway? (My guess is it went something like: “Do you think Trump is going to have a shit storm about us talking to each other?” “Hell yeah!” Followed by laughter and selfies.) If they were really up to no good they could easily have kept this quiet.

Guess what. I have been watching MSNBC for several hours today. This story was on when I first turned on the TV. In the hours since … not a peep.
It’s not exactly chewing up the news cycle. Even if it was, we are going into a long holiday weekend. It’s the perfect time for a hand-wringing, “we’re Dems so we fret” optics “news” story.
