Just for the sake of argument, I’d like to know who has standing to challenge the Obergefell decision. Who precisely would be actually injured by a gay or lesbian couple getting married? Standing was a major part of the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision on Prop 8 upholding Judge Vaughn Walker’s decision as well as a case in Iowa involving Steve King and other conservatives challenging a judge’s decision to granting a dissolution of a civil union in 2002. In each case, the court said those challenging the decisions could provide no evidence that they were personally injured. I’d like someone to tell me who is actually injured now that gays and lesbians are allowed to marry.

Bingo! He wishes to excite the religious nutters from Iowa. Actually, he’s a bit late to that game. Going to church and uttering your despise for gay people in the last couple weeks prior to the caucuses shows he’s desperate. He’s just now realizing he might be in for a trouncing and/or a pretty weak showing.
