I find it odd that Trump has never had any experience in government, and here he is, running for the top government job. He seems to be completely oblivious to the concept of public service, or the public good. He is actually auditioning as the Hugest Asshole Ever. I have to wonder how many people will realize before Election Day that this isn’t all a show with Donnie. He screwed Gadhafi, he screwed the poor wretches signing up for trump Univ, he will screw the Mexicans and the Muslims, and women, and he will screw you, too, after you have voted for him. He is in this for himself only.

The real tragedy is that Trump apparently feels that this incident reflects well on him. He seems to be completely unaware of the fact that sleaze in business in pursuit of lucre really only appeals to the 1%. Most of the rest of the world views the ability to make money without regard to the consequences as a character flaw.

First off, Donnie’s advisors all obsequiously call him Mr Trump, and not one among them appears to have the stones to tell the emperor he has a big fat mouth (let alone a big fat ass).
Secondly, with comments like this, he is certainly establishing his bona fides as a trustworthy negotiating partner for heads of state elsewhere. Not, of course, that something like this is necessary for being POTUS.
Being POTUS just means you get to tell everyone in the world to kiss your patootie and they naturally feel obliged to do it.
