Discussion: Trump Says He Made 'A Lot Of Money' In Deal With Libya's Gadhafi

yep… we should conduct foreign policy by making deals, taking the cash and then tell them to get screwed…

But there was also an element of the absurd. “There was a goat involved.
They were going to kill a goat and have it for dinner,” she said. When
Gadhafi didn’t show, “it got a reprieve.”

I knew there had to be a goat involved somewhere.

FFS. Somebody offers him money and it’s shady and involves a kind of celebrity and a dictator too which he’s all about so he can’t resist even though anyone sane would know better, and then it becomes a big angry muddle and he denies he knew anything about it, and years later after the whole mixup has blown over his takeaway is it makes him a genius negotiator. Of course. It’s never any other way, with The Donald. Everything that’s ever happened in the world is direct proof of what a genius he is.

You just know that Trump was really envious of Big K’s taste in interior design.

That’s the closest I’ve ever heard of anyone admitting publicly that they were involved in money laundering for another dictator.

And this is why (finally) I have decided to vote for Trump. His uncanny ability to make money off of every situation he encounters in life will surely rub off on me, because . . . Trump. His mother must be so proud, and so will mine, cause she is sure to make money too.

What on earth does he think this admission will bring him??

The more he says crap like this, the more convinced I am that he is intentionally trying to sabotage his candidacy… Except that every time he comes out with crap where you think he has finally crossed The Line, it takes the GOP about 15 minutes to start providing excuses for him. He keeps drawing lines in the sand and the GOP just keeps retreating and retreating and retreating.

This would almost be funny if it weren’t so tragic.

(And if it didn’t bring us closer to another 8 years of a Dem White House…)

Here it is. I’m disappointed. Just another McTent.

Once again we have another example of how this man is completely incapable of identifying , let alone acting upon, the public interest.

To be an effective public servant, one must keep one’s eyes wide open in order to identify the broad public interest. Instead, Trump squints to discern his own narrow perceived self-interest.

But of course very classy! Only the finest finishes!

There was a goat involved.

The hardest part was getting it to sign the non disclosure…

My cousin’s uncle makes $2000 dollars an hour by being pro-Trump. It’s so easy a goat could do it. Can I interest you in this platinum training seminar?

“I dealt with Gadhafi. Excuse me. I rented him a piece of land. He paid me more for one night than the land was worth for the whole year or for two years. And then I didn’t let him use the land. That’s what we should be doing,” Trump said in a 2011 interview with Fox News.

So, enter into an agreement with someone. Accept payment. Then fail (or refuse) to deliver the goods or services promised for the monies remitted to you.
Seems this statement could be used at trials in the Trump University suits. An example of the business ethics of Donald Trump, straight from his own mouth.

EXACTLY, steviedee111 - this sums up the rotten core of Donald.

Before this election, Trump got a lot of publicity, but his shady business deals didn’t. I’m hoping that he will ruin the Trump brand and his whole house of cards will collapse. At the very least that this inane run of his will seriously hurt him financially.

Does Trump have even one advisor who says to him “Have you ever thought about just listening to yourself”?

If every world leader followed Trump’s leader model there would be nothing but wars and chaos… or at the very least UN General Assembly meetings beset by world leaders selling their own “free” seminars, can’t miss pyramid get rich quick schemes, and Royals everywhere attaching their names to innumerable worthless products.
