Add this to the long list of things about which he has “no idea” other than what the ramblings of Three Dolts on a Couch* (aka Fox and Friends) tell him.
*h/t Charles Pierce
Remember the good ol’ days when Presidents would manage their daily public exposure so that the gravity of the office and importance of events weren’t unnecessarily or foolishly diluted?
At least he’s admitting it. There is an uncountable number of things that Donald Trump knows that are wrong.
The term"par for the course" is very fitting in this context…
Not that Trump could shoot par…
Something else he has no idea about, the ecomony
Interesting in light of my companies higher ups, all white guys granted like me, have sold like crazy for the past 5 years but I think our customers are saturated with new equipment so the CEO and higher ups are worried shitless that sales will be way off this year unless we come up with new stuff to sell them. Amazing how being successful and dominating a market does nothing to comfort some folks that have a lot but seem to always need more and worry about keeping the excess they have.
There is no Mueller report coming today. There are too many loose threads out there. This is a hype cycle generated by Rudy Giuliani. What we ought to be doing is trying to figure out what thing is Rudy trying to distract the press from? What pressure is he brining to bear on Mueller? What are House Dems doing to protect Mueller from interference by Trump/Rudy and Barr?
Trump is lying…his pattern of behavior is unmistakable.
Without any inquiry, he originally stated that no one from his administration had any contact with any Russians…back in the beginning. We now know that his entire team was involved with the Russians.
Without any inquiry, he now states he knows nothing of the content of the Muller report. Clearly, this ins another blatant lie! My guess is Bill Barr is briefing Trump every morning on what Mueller has contained in his most recent draft of his report. Trump already has all the details on the report. The Democrats need to subpoena Barr and find out how many briefings he’s given Trump.
Are we at the point where we pick and choose which of Trump’s delusional utterances may be true?
Why? This is the guy who said that Manafort was a wonderful guy; then said he hardly knew him because he wasn’t on the job but a couple of days; and then called him a hero for not ratting Trump out. This is the guy who asked George Conway to serve as the Solicitor General of the United States (Conway declined) and now says he “doesn’t really know the guy.”
I start from the presumption that nothing, NOTHING this guy says is true. That makes me right about 90% of the time.
Yes exactly. He IS being briefed and based on what he’s heard so far, he (and Barr) believe is good news for Trump. What you’re seeing here is Trump failing miserably at being coy.
I dunno…I am kind of feeling a “shit’s about to hit the fan” vibe
DC press is creating that vibe. Mueller continues to do his work.
I hope that there is a contingency plan in place, like say changing the locks on all the doors in the WH. Who has a D.C locksmith on speed dial?
News? Hardly.
Trump Says He Has ‘No Idea About The Mueller Report’
Of course, He knows!..He’s been briefed.
Folks! If there’s no clear indications of wrong doings=This democracy is faltering.
The fix is in!..Ease the population into accepting the verdict of judicial system, cowered and trembling to Trump’s authoritarian rule.
From John Light at TPM - Rudy Giuliani told the Washington Post’s Robert Costa
he is glued to cable news and scrolling through Twitter. “It’s like
waiting for a baby” to be born, Giuliani said. “If the report is good,
I’ll give out cigars.”
Another data point that says good news for Trump AND they know it.
Washington is tensed in anticipation of the report, with Trump’s aides trying to test-run scenarios based on what the report contains.
What scenarios are Dems test-running? “Let Mueller do his job” is all fine and well, but what if Mueller doesn’t do his job as Dems would like him to? Trump is establishing narratives to cater for his worst-case scenario; Democrats aren’t, and there’s a real danger that the Mueller report will turn into a massive momentum-booster for the Republican party and a crushing setback for everyone else. We’re mocking Trump for his ‘desperation’ when actually he’s a couple of steps ahead of the Dems on this–as he always is on questions of PR and spin.
None of this is to say that the report will in fact be a whitewash. But, if Rosenstein is to be believed, it is almost certainly not going to provide the damning political-legal narrative that Democrats are hoping for.
Kush’s secret texting with foreign leaders. Probably insider trading for sovereign wealth funds, and the like.
Money laundering, tax evasion, bank fraud I believe are not part of Mueller’s charge. If there is no evidence of “collusion”, you will never hear the end of it from Trump until the day after election day 2020.
This is hype. It’s Rudy who is generating that hype. He’s feeding the press because the OSC never does.
