Trump denies ‘insensitive’ remarks to soldier’s widow

Mr Trump did not immediately provide the evidence.

Trump denies 'insensitive' remarks to soldier's widow

Oh, this is complicated, whom should I trust ?

I don’t want to give the orange shit-gibbon any cover here but…

As much as I can believe he did fuck this up, some proof he fucked it up would be nice.

Let’s see. On the one hand we have the congresswoman. And the widow who heard the remarks (and at some point would come forward and say if the congresswoman were making this up). On the other hand we have Trump. Who do we trust here… Such a hard decision. Not.

Is he going to go after the widow if she confirms the congresswoman’s account? I think we know the answer to that one.

(I’m not suggesting reporters should ask her about it. Leave the poor woman to grieve.)

He probably believes this is true. Weak memory. Very, very bad brain. Sick.

“He knew what he was signing up for…” The entire Trump family has made it abundantly clear that military service is strictly for chumps, u bitch.

Until then I guess we’ll just have to rely on a lifetime of bad behavior, a pathological inability to feel or mimic empathy, an astronomically high probability, and the contradictory testimony from people who probably don’t want to be in the middle of a sickening controversy at this particular point in their lives.

Also note that these two are women of color. So, of course, Trump feels free to trash them for the sake of his tender ego. He is a monster.

Perhaps an anonymous official, like a congresswoman, perhaps, close to the situation, would suffice?

A further indication that the congresswoman and the widow’s story is true is that, as reported elsewhere, Rep. Wilson noted that Ms. Johnson was particularly upset because Dotard “couldn’t even remember didn’t even know his name.” Sound familiar?

[Edited for quote accuracy. h/t @musgrove. Thanks.]

We’re going to hear about the solemn obligation of military spouses to honor the President, country and flag. “Whatever Trump said to this woman was private, and she broke a sacred trust by divulging the information. She should be ashamed”
Something like that, along with model cases of “correct” behavior by white spouses.

Asperger Syndrome generally involves an overwhelming sense of empathy…sometimes there’s bluntness and a missing of social cues…but WAY far off from NPD.

The Congresswoman also fabricated comments attributed to Trump that President Obama was not born in the United States.

Well, they were nearly identical to the existing comments, but still, somehow fabricated.

Right now we have in one corner a known liar, so yeah not exactly a trustworthy source.

In the other, a relatively unknown opposition congresswomen with a penchant for ill fitting cowboy hats… i’m Not exactly going to say her word is unimpeachable either.

A third party corroboration would be nice is all i’m Saying.

Hmmmmm…I may very well be wrong here. Sorry about that. I was thinking of this

and how little her husband could relate to actual problems that were not his own.

edit: But I see this now:

The White House is already pushing the private conversation angle.

DOTUS is already claiming (via Twitter, of course) that he has proof. As I asked up thread, “Sound familiar?”
