In light of McConnell’s comments I’m guessing there is no new money to pay for a ‘commission’. What in the way of discretionary money to the WH or the office of Veep have to pay for such a thing?
A lot of people are going to make a great deal of money with books after they leave this WH, but unfortunately, separating fact from fiction will be impossible.
It seems a logical starting point would be enlist the help of the Interstate Commerce Commission and the Massachusetts Department of Transportation. After all, that number of phantom buses and drivers shouldn’t be too hard to track down. Perhaps a Presidential Quija Board should also be empaneled.
