Discussion: Trump’s Pick For Labor Was Accused Of Domestic Abuse In The '80s

Ivana recanted too. Divorce ploy most likely in both cases. Women are almost always the one with less power in those situations.

He’ll fit in just fine with the pussy-grabber.

I don’t think it was a divorce ploy. I think she got hush money.

That too.

Like you can eat like that AND look like that anywhere but Trumpland.

Given the unprecedented change in labor (with a third or more of all jobs under threat of being replaced by robots or AI) you might think this would be a valuable post. Future jobs will go to the scientifically and technologically fluent, and to novel problem solvers. Even if you cut wages to something well below subsistence, machines can still outcompete the unskilled. As Nate Silver points out today, social and economic mobility is declining. Part of this is that it is increasingly difficult to build a nest egg. It’s not bad if you aready have capital, but early formation of personal capital (intangible such as education and tangible such as real estate) is very difficult. Most American households now have zero or negative net assets.

Going on strike will be so much more fun now.

I’m surprised the charge wasn’t murder.

Did he grab her by the…

Hmmm, makes perfects sense. How much money is there in “pain management” these days?

Oh JHC…none of this matters because they made money? Lovely standards this administration is setting for the US.

I know this is satire, but it seems entirely plausible.

The pieces all fit together.

In Trump World that is not a problem it is a qualification.
