Mar-a-Lago, no thanks to the Mango Menace (it was built for Marjorie Merriwether Post, who had real class), is a lovely work of architecture. So it pains me to say this, but I am SO hoping to see video of it totally flooded this weekend.

Mar-a-Lago is a beautiful and historic home that just happens to belong to an asshole named Trump.
While I wish Trump himself every ill that can befall a man, I do not in any way want to see an historic property damaged or destroyed because of its ownership.
Those who want it destroyed by the hurricane because it belongs to Trump are being petty, small-minded, and vindictive—qualities I usually associate with right-wing morons.
If that’s how you feel, in encourage you to re-examine your position in an adult manner.

And the possessive of “it” never has an apostrophe in it. There is no apostrophe in his, no apostrophe in hers, and no apostrophe in its.
It’s means it is or it has, and nothing else.
Mar-A-Lago sits on Palm Beach Island as part of a strip of land called billionaires row. Some of the most expensive beach front property in America is in jeopardy. On the other end of the island is Rush Limbaugh’s little dacha. Think about that for a moment.

Should the press surrender to outrage fatigue and quit reporting on theses sorts of items? Start treating egregious lapses in behavior and ethics as the new normal? Trump will be ever more emboldened to pile on violations of both the law and acceptable conduct. Mueller may find out stuff that Trump supporters will ignore, and Trump detractors will say “I knew or suspected as much already.” Does that mean Mueller should fold up shop also?

I hear that Alex Jones and Joel Osteen have volunteered to climb to the top of Limbaugh’s radio tower with Rush to weather out the storm… in protest of fake global warming warnings and to pray for the deliverance of the structure. Sort of like that Ark Amusement Park in KY.
