Trumps: Helping one another is a great trait, especially among powerful and the rich.
How many of his interventions were on behalf of, or would have benefited, companies in which he held stock?
Fox meet Henhouse.
A staunch opponent to President Barack Obama’s Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare, which he says destroys “the sacred
doctor-patientdonor-recipient relationship,” Price has offered several plans…
FIFY
Obamacare destroys “the sacred doctor-patient relationship”.
Unlike transvaginal ultrasounds.
Or forcing women to listen to fetal heart beats.
And mandatory waiting periods during crisis pregnancies.
Which totally don’t destroy “the sacred doctor-patient relationship”.
Upon learning Dr. Price used “pay to play” with favoring his donors, Donald Trump nodded in approval and said: “he’ll fit right in”.
And kickbacks to doctors from drug and device makers…
This is another example of this crew’s capicity for papacity.
tl;dr Tom Price helps shady companies swindle grandma with dangerous cure-alls advertised in the back of Parade magazine that will bankrupt and/or kill her.
PEOTUS: As long as he keeps his cons on his own turf and doesn’t try any scam universities or family “foundations”, I don’t care.
Ryan: As long as I get to slash taxes on the 0.001% and destroy Medicare/SS, I don’t care.
McConnell: As long as I get to rub it in the black guy’s face, I don’t care.
PS: The AAPS, of which Price is a member, is a loony bin. I wouldn’t be surprised if 70-80% are current or former Birchers.
I bet he’s a lousy doctor, too. But I also bet that he never missed his Wednesday afternoon golf game.
So Rep. Price do you know where MiMedx gets it’s placentas and amniotic fluid? Are you aware that the trend in state legislatures is to force women to pay to cremate or bury their stillborn and aborted fetuses? Where oh where will your good friends and donors at MiMedx get their supplies? And should we look into who is profiting off of fetal tissue?
I thought it enabled 22 million people to have a doctor-patient relationship who did not have one before.
The ACA has nothing whatsoever to do with doctor-patient relationships. It’s a red herring paraded around by the “It’s Socialized Medicine!” (which doesn’t have anything to do with it either) scare crowd since about 1952.
When I see stories like this - and there have been many over the years - I continue to be stunned by just how cheaply one can buy a member of congress. These campaign donations rarely amount to more than 5-figures and yet that meager amount buys permanent advocacy, perhaps with the promise of future donations or withholding thereof.
Perhaps we need a GoFundMe to purchase our own members of congress…
or did you mean “great trade”?
Or railing against offering physicians a small stipend for offering compassionate counseling to patients and their families for end-of-live planning. You know, before the life support or dangerous surgery is needed…
You could see why he has a dog in this fight defending the medical supply industry. Tom Price’s district which includes a good part of Newt’s old Marietta district is one of those districts that, no shock receive the most federal largesse.
This is a feature not a bug of the Swamp Creatures DJT claims to want. It goes like this: anything my opponents want is wasteful government spending and guaranteed to be fiscally responsible. My pet projects, industries and donors are the opposite.
Just like Kellyanne said: we need to stop listening to what comes out of their mouths and focus on what goes into their wallets.
That’s what she said, right?
