For the very first time, I’m seriously entertaining the theory that Trump really doesn’t want to be president. I admit that I thought that was a really foolish argument, but this is such an incredibly risky move that I have to wonder if it isn’t an attempt to wind it down. Unless…perhaps he’s planning a simultaneous event in order to bigfoot the debate? If so, it’s actually kind of brilliant.

Well, if true (and he follows through with it), it will be interesting to see the reaction/consequences. This wouldn’t be a minor issue on the right. If their propaganda arm can be so easily flouted, it’s a huge blow to the party. If this finally hurts Trump’s primary campaign, that’s obviously a major consequence as well.

That’s odd. I don’t see how this will help him if he actually follows through with it. It’s Fox News and Megyn Kelly. I am curious to see if it would affect ratings.
