This report features grift, projection, abject ignorance…and fear of Impeachment

“he will “sue” if it happens.”

Nice try. To whom?

Yes, please test your theory, Mr President. We’re behind you all the way.

Yes, because getting a blowjob in the Oval Office and encouraging, cooperating with, and benefitting from the illegal interference of foreign governments to “win” the election, then obstructing justice are the same.

And now, I give you the bots, trolls, and hair-on-fire armchair strategists who believe that Pelosi is BETRAYING US ALL BECAUSE NO IMMEDIATE IMPEACHMENT argle-bargle.

And it probably will give him a boost to the approval rating. Because the Dems haven’t yet demonstrated that they know how to do the process and will probably muck it up.

If they do the inquiry, as many of us are asking for, rather than the outright impeachment process (not unlike the Nixon years), much more information would get out there about why this is so important. Right now, 80% of the American public don’t have a clue and won’t get a clue unless they’re hit over the head with it.

No one’s doing anything now, so we’re at stasis.

I’m still in favor of standing on his lawn … sue away, Fat Bastard.

he continues to believe he has done nothing to deserve the “I-word,” as he calls it — but has told aides he will “sue” if it happens.

LIAR.

Privately? I believe Trump has said it in so many words, repeatedly, in public.

Federal Court on a rocket docket to the Supremes, where Brett Kavanaugh of all fucking people, who, as Kenneth Starr’s Right Hand Sex Police Henchman often claimed no President is above the law, will write the opinion (joined by Neil Gorsuck and Sam Alitosis), which together with the concurring on other grounds John Roberts and Clarence Thomas, forever after declare that a President cannot be Impeached if he happens to be Republican, because that would be damn unsportsmanlike, and would interfere with the Divine Right of Republican Presidents.

For all those who claim that impeachment would help Trump, this article should tell you that he is absolutely fearful of it. He is obsessed with it. He’d have zero control over it, which for Trump is the worst of all worlds. And, no, it won’t boost his popularity either.

Fun fact: an impeachment process is less disruptive to the lives of the American people than a Trump gov’t shutdown, far more edifying, and takes about the same amount of time (give or take a week or two).

A well-placed WAPO article, this one…

“Privately intrigued” indeed…

He can get more famous by being the first President to be impeached and then removed from office by the Senate. Sounds like he needs to pitch this to McConnell.

Does that implicitly include her desire, as a shill and catspaw of the one-percenters, to help get Trump reelected? Just want to make sure we’re including that one.

15 people sourcing it. Barr is gonna appoint the US Attorney for Connecticut as Special Inquisitor to determine if there are in fact 15 people, who they are, and if Jeff Bezos can be investigated and possibly prosecuted by the DOJ under any federal basis whatsoever.

Impeachment, like many of the other checks and balances, has been perverted by the GOP. While we most certainly have short-term issues like impeachment and the 2020 election to address, the longer-term crisis is a strategy for minimizing the GOP as a political force.

Toadglans’ approval rating would go up at my house if he were impeached and removed from office. He’d become even more popular if he were then arrested, tried and convicted, and spent the rest of his life in a dank, upstate New York prison.

Fun Fact: High profile inmates are always held in protective custody, i.e. solitary confinement.
