Discussion: Trump Preps Election Day Spin: We Saved The Senate!

A robot said they knew discussions were disabled and something that amounted to a cyberspace apology. That message is gone now.

I missed the “dial-up” phase of things. I remember being utterly mystified by an Apple II as it was unpacked and set up by a grad student in my lab. He had to “sit the old man down” and 'splain “word processing” to him (meaning me). now I was still working on typing at that point. Generally a pad of paper and a pencil worked great for writing thru a good chunk of my career.

They laughed at the #BlueWave2018 hashtag. We’ll see who has the last laugh.

Have to admit, based on unscientific data like high early voter turnout, high youth early voters, high new registrations, and majority Dem yard signs (like I said- unscientific) in traditional Repub areas, I am cautiously optimistic that there is a new cadre of Dem, Indie, and even dissatisfied Republican voters ready to take over the House, and make the Senate somewhat competitive (though not majority Dem).

Could these charged new voters be Trump clones? Certainly, but not likely. Trump supporters haven’t changed in almost 2 years, with 40% +/- Trump approval. It appears they are maxed out at 40%. Dems are historically lazy voters, especially in midterms, but now appear energized… throw in a few Indies and “old style” Repubs, and the future is so bright, I must need shades.

However, just like Reagan II, Bush II, and Trump, it ain’t over until the fat lady sings.

It’s Clinton’s belief for now and forever that that all changed 11 days before the election when Comey spoke about her emails.

hahahahahahaha

I bet there’s an app for that. You could probably play that every time you power up. hahahaha

I was up in Colorado, way up in the San Juans, connecting through a server in Gunnison that was run by a woman and her son and occasionally we had to call them up and tell them the server had crashed.

I had to sign in 5 times if I remember correctly. And comments went down almost daily at Eschaton - but there were a lot of us in that community.

Yeah, I finally got around to complaining and they brought it right back up. Do I have to do it ALL?

We could move on and discuss cilantro since it was such a hit yesterday, or not.

hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

I just thought of something - every time I plant cilantro and I have tried a number of times, it immediately goes to seed and dies. What the hell? Anyone have any advice. I’ve tried to pinch the blooms off and then the seeds to keep them from doing it but it always has.
