Discussion: Trump On Speech By Father Of Muslim Soldier: 'I'd Like To Hear His Wife'

It’s behind a pay wall and I’ve ready more than my 5 free articles this month. Is there any way to read it? (I read somewhere that if you google one of the sentences from the article you’ll be able to get it.)

Gracias, Raul…Methinks part of the attraction of Trump is the attraction an imminent natural disaster evokes.

The difference is that Andrea Mitchell would be just as scared as we are in the latter case…instead of a smug, sniveling enabler in the former.

Next, Trump will attack the soldier that was awarded the Medal of Honor.

Oh look, another Putin connection. This is getting ridiculous:

Lt. General Michael T. Flynn, Wikipedia:

In retirement, Flynn was described by the Washington Post as “not hostile to Russia,” while Michael Crowley of Vox described Flynn as having “an odd affection for Russia and its authoritarian government.”

After retiring from service with the U.S. government, Flynn began appearing semi-regularly as an analyst on RT, a Kremlin-aligned English-language news outlet. In 2015, Flynn attended a gala dinner in Moscow in honor of RT, where he was seated two seats away from Russian president Vladimir Putin. Before attending the event, Flynn gave a paid talk on world affairs to a group; Flynn defended the Russian payment in an interview with Michael Isikoff. Journalist Michael Crowley of Politico reported that “At a moment of semi-hostility between the U.S. and Russia, the presence of such an important figure at Putin’s table startled” U.S. officials.

“I saw a picture of his grave at Arlington. His headstone was really boring, looked like all the others. Not classy at all, really not very classy at all. And it had some ISIS symbols on it, a crescent moon and a star or something. Really boring.” — DJ Trump

You and I must hold a similar opinion of Andrea Mitchell, especially her work in the last few years. She is an enabler, but she isn’t stupid. Despite her affliction with Hillary Derangement Syndrome, I still can’t understand how she isn’t frightened on some level about a Donald Trump presidency.

Here:

Putin is etching with acid a picture of America as ignorant, narcissistic and, especially, unreliable.

Try it.

This Politico article has been posted here and there in our forum. Worth posting again.

The Kremlin’s Candidate: In the 2016 election, Putin’s propaganda network is picking sides

The key part regarding Flynn. Emphasis mine:

Seated next to Simonyan at the dinner and just two seats away from Putin himself was perhaps the most intriguing example of how the Russians have gone about recruiting disaffected members of that establishment: a rugged-looking man in a tuxedo who less than 18 months earlier had been head of the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Pentagon’s powerful in-house equivalent of the CIA. Michael Flynn, now a private citizen after a reportedly disgruntled retirement, was not there to gather intelligence. His attendance at the RT gala, before which he also gave a talk on world affairs, appeared to inaugurate a relationship with the network—presumably a paid one, though neither Flynn nor RT answered queries on the subject.

I’d love to have Trump call that 4 Star General a “fail general” to his face. Trump we be reduced to a whimpering puddle of goo–and the only weapon the general would use is his voice.
