Nixon was furious the same way cause he couldnā€™t use the FBI, CIA, IRS and the DOJ on those pesky protestors bitching about the Vietnam War all cause they might get killed for nothing.

Yep he would have used the DOJ in a heartbeat if he had thought he could get away with it.

At least however, Nixon was a lawyer and not simple-minded. He knew when he crossed the line. Trump has no concept of a line he canā€™t cross.
