No shit Sherlock?
I’m betting it’d bury him.
How about just releasing the page detailing “Charitable Giving”? It would only take people a few seconds to read, and would only provoke a couple of questions.
Donald Trump Jr. said that one reason his father has yet to receive his tax returns, in a break from four decades of precedent for presidential candidates, was that the complicated documents would provoke too many questions.
Probably meant “release” or “reveal”. Probably not a good idea to post articles before 7:00 am, or at least before the first cup of coffee.
ETA: I see it’s corrected now. Good for Ms Kirkland.
12,000 pages - for HO? He probably includes the tax returns of every scam charity and business partnership that includes his name along with all the W-2 and 990 copies for people who are legally working for these entities. It’s yuuuuuge!
Keep on fucking that chicken, Jr.
Can we get Qusay’s opinion, too?
—Hillary was able to handle the release of 30,000 emails AND release her tax returns AND say more about her health than Trump.
So Trump won’t release his tax returns because they might raise questions?
Pretty much.
Hey, give Trump a break – he’ll release his taxes, but it takes time to doctor up 10 years of fake returns to hide all his shady dealings, non-existent charitable giving, and an effective tax rate of basically zero. Fake tax returns can’t just be churned out overnight, people.
12,000 pages or not, there are only about three lines anyone is really interested in: 1) how much income, 2) how much given to charity and 3) how much tax paid.
So, make it easy for us and just give us those three pages. Save you lots of photocopying.

“He’s got a 12,000-page tax return that would create … financial auditors out of every person in the country asking questions that would detract from [his father’s] main message,” Trump Jr. said
Kid obviously has no idea how much 12,000 pages of paper is.
And nothing can be allowed to distract from [his father’s] main message of hatred and bigotry.
The only people who want to see Trump’s tax returns are people who understand numbers and neither Trump nor his campaign has any interest in such people. The only number Trump has ever been interested in is his bottom line. Its steady decrease is doubtless one of the factors that led him to run for president.
Trump cannot release his tax returns because it is likely that they show:
- his net worth is considerably less than he claims and consists mostly of an inflated estimate of the value of his “brand”.
- his income is much smaller than he claims and consists most of profits from offshore manufacturing in China and Mexico.
- his charitable contributions consist mostly of free rounds of golf at his various golf courses all valued at at least three times their actual value.
- he is heavily in debt to the Russian mafia.
- he is about to be indicted for tax fraud and income tax evasion.
- any, all, or a few of the above.
By all means, let there be no questions raised about Trump’s taxes or business dealings.
Also, Usay forget to mention the REAL reason Trump can’t “receive” his returns, which is the audit.
I hope the MSM picks up on the discrepancy.
And these filthy bastards have the audacity to accuse Clinton of hubris.
Also, who let the cat out? And did someone remember to close the garage door? How about those Yankees?
They are giving instructions to the press. “We’re sorry, but here is the reason Trump can’t release his tax returns. Very reasonable, don’t you think, Anderson? I mean, YOU wouldn’t release your returns? ha ha ha”
In other words the creepy clown family known as the Trumps are saying their supporters are too stupid to understand their leader’s tax filings and of course the fraud that is part of it.
Trump creepy clown…top selling Halloween costume for 2016!
Yeah, yeah, the Mafia’s taxes were complex, too.
Mitt Romney’s 2011 tax return was 379 pages. I am smelling a very strong whiff of BS. There is no logical reason why the number of pages has anything to do with why he should release it.
But at least we have moved on to bragging about the size of tax returns instead of the size of …
Speaking of …, Warren Buffet has been playing “you show me your I’ll show you mine” for tax returns with other rich guys for years.
