First of all, the Tribune-Review is a Conservative rag.
Second, Junior is quite right that an examination of the tax returns would distract from the b.s. his Dad is trying to feed the American people.
All the reason for everyone else to double down on the demand that Trump release them. And until he does, we all have the right to assume Trump has the most nefarious things to hide.

- He will not release the tax returns
- It will not harm him in the least with the people who are fueling his rise in the polls
- The MSM is the last social organ which will say anything substantive about this
- Trump will be elected President of the United States
- Leaving for Canada or elsewhere will be of no avail. According to financial analyses, Trump’s policies will impact and destabilize the world

First of all, even with supplemental schedules, it is very, very, very, very unlikely that the return approaches 12,000 pages, or even a fraction of that. Junior may be talking about the returns of his father and the various businesses that he uses for his business. But if he’s doing that, it’s only to make the refusal to level with voters sound reasonable. In other words, he’s lying like his dad does.

I just don’t get it. What the hell is going on in our country? When did it become acceptable for a campaign to simply state, “We’re not going to talk about that anymore” or “That’s too complex, people wouldn’t understand”? Can you imagine the outcry were Clinton to try to use one of those excuses? Or if she went on a talk show and provided only a single letter and called it her medical records?
I have felt for a week now that we are witnessing not just the disintegration of the media but of public standards as a whole. This surreal spectacle of absolute obsession over Clinton’s health, while just whistling past Trump’s plethora or lies and scams, has me completely disheartened. I once thought that Trump wouldn’t do the debates because he had too much to lose. I was wrong. He has NOTHING to lose. All he has to do is show up and the media will proclaim his courage and that he has “exceeded expectations.” Clinton is walking into an unwinnable situation, and I’m not certain her campaign has any clue. They have certainly proved their clumsiness and cluelessness this past week.
I honestly don’t know what has happened to my country.
